Dont panic, its a 757 g-mond
Anyone got a picture of the evidence?
what humour? all you go on about is yr precious meals.
danairboy
As you continue to bitch about paying for meals, i thought i would see how much yr prepared to pay for a meal. I compared a MAN-GIB round trip on ZB and GB for a random date in October, details as follows.
18Oct-20Oct
ZB total price =£125.42
GB total price =£217.20
So danairboy, would you really pay an extra £91 for an airline meal?
Good, best place for such tight arses. Airlines should provide a complimentary meal on flights above 2 hours as standard anyway. I feel strongly about this as you will no doubt gather from my other posts.
I often think charter airlines introduced the charges for food in order to create a two-tier service. It also makes the rather thick but pretty cabin staff feel superior being able to sneer at the cheapskates at the back!
In two other threads you have complained about paying for meals. I take it your always stuck up the back then, because after all your one of these ‘tight arses’.
Why dont you just pay the £4.50 for a meal and the £2.50 for a drink, I’m sure it will be cheaper than an internal flight.
No doubt Monarch will lose business from not offering meals, however they still offer the daily newspaper. Would you rather they increase the ticket prices to cover the cost of your meal?
Not sure if you live up north, but if you did, would you really drive to LGW just because monarch didn’t offer a meal? i think not. I see in a previous post that you hate BMIbaby, now its Monarch, you better watch out, otherwise yr soon run out of airlines!!!
They are only once a week because it is the old charter routes having a flight number change. It is not an additional flight to the Monarch flying programme, just means it looks like ZB are expanding.
I believe the a/c had an engine fire, not sure what engine though.
Its XLA and a 738
It happened yesterday and was an access panel.
It is G-OZBE, It didn’t crash, it had a tail scrape on landing. No injuries, just major programme disruption.
To be precise, it is actually on a C4 check.
no plans for A330 paint jobs as yet. EOMA is on a C-check with SMAN going in straight after EOMA comes out.
TCX painted all their planes quickly as they rebranded and FCA no longer existed.
