Hey Dutchy,

EPST is the European Pilot Selection & Training course.
A lot of Dutch guys I know did their training there.
The selection is pretty hard,but if you get through, you`ll be guided closely throughout your courses.
Check out http://www.epst.com for more information about it.

If you want o check out more private) flight training programmes, you have to check:
http://www.AVASP.com
If you fill in your data,a lot and I mean A LOT) of flight schools (like Comair and flight safy tc)
will send you their info.

Please, get a lot of information about the training-costs,and how you are going to pay for it,
Flight training is very expensive, and you take a pretty big financial risk if you`ll start.
And when you start training, get yourself a “loss of licence” insurance.

Hey are you from Holland Dutchy????

Yep Lufthansa is all in German (sorry)
But why don`t you try the EPST program?
It`s in Holland and they train you from nothing to an 737 FO!!!!
Easy jet gets pilots from there!!!!
At least you HAVE to be under 27 years old!!!!!!
And you HAVE to study very very hard, but it`s worth it at the end! (believe me!)

Come on!
Why don`t you trust them?
Every airline has to work with special safety guidelines, and their all checked very often by an official.
I don`t think that ANY airline places their passengers onto a non or poorly serviced aircraft!
Every repair or replacement has to be checked out several times.
If not…….the aircraft can (and will) be grounded untill they do it right.

So I am sure that you can fly on easyjet or virgin or any othe low-cost airline in europe safely!
If you start looking in Asia or Africa……that`s a different story I think.

Frst thing you have to do is get your medical checks!
And then you know if you can do the JAR/FCL courses.
If you faiil your medicals,you have no chance.
In holland 95% of all medical tests go allright.
The lufthansa flight school has a special ab-initio course, which is relatively cheap.
After finishing this course, you have a big chance to start flying for Lufthansa city-line,
the chance of flying for Lufthansa classic is a lot smaller.
But……..the way I see it, flying small is better than not flying at all!!!!

No sorry, I`m single now for 3 weeks after a 1 year relationship,and I am NOT looking for a girl right now!
And……I live in Holland so……..little problem?

Air France flies A-320 aircraft to Amsterdam.
So that`s not too big?

They really fly A-300`s to Manchester?
A-300`s are great aircraft to fly with (I think so) , I flew on them a lot in hailand,and I really enjoyed it!
Flew 777-200 there also,and ATR-42/72.
And although I enjoyed the A-300, the 777-200 RULEZZZZZ!!!
(sorry for the airbus lovers)

Okay Comet, keep on flying and posting!
(My guesss is that you are 26/27 years old)

I used to think that Amsterdam was very good,
but there were 2 big fires within 3 months…….so it`s not too safe?
First there was a stray (?????) who was cold an he started a fire in a toilet that went out of control.
and last saturday the burger king blew up!
so………..don`t smoke on amsterdam airport!!!!!

I think that the “intelligent” humans, are the cause of all the cattle diseases.
Humans want big pieces of meat, richer milk etc.
So they start trying to get fatter cows,pigs and sheep.
and I think this is the way that nature will get back on us!
stop playing with the animals, take them for what they are, don`t use genetic stuff on them,
cause in the end…………….humans will be the victims!
And I love airplanes too! (it`s still anaviation forum!)

My guess is that PIA will start leasing airbus aircraft!

They fly A-310 to Amsterdam now.

Haha, well, my girlfriend was blonde,and she just couldn`t understaand the difference between propello-aircraft end jet-aircraft
Fortunately she left my life now (my choice) and now I am a happy single!
So now it`s possible to ga to Amsterdam airport and check out planes without any stupid questions being asked!!

But….I still am a little dissapointed that there still isn`t one girl on this forum.
What happened to “GIRL POWER”??????
I was expecting at least one or two girls here, but it doesn`t seem to be that way.
