Hello All
Would anyone know what this part may have been and which aircraft please.
Thanks
Richard Hall.
Thanks for the replies, with the ASI reading to 320mph I assume more likely to be Battle, Fulmar.
Thanks for the kind comments – much appreciated 🙂
What was the point in posting the original pics twice ….??? They are a bit bloody big !! you’re not likely to miss them ????
I think it was simple mistake on part of the person posting the reply. Should have removed the links before posting reply. I have done it myself before 😮
Very nice shots on a cold day 🙂
Thanks – Great to see these shots. I remember driving past Cranwell last year and saw two Jags fired up with all lights on. It looked like they were about to do a formation take off. Now bearing in mind that I had no idea at that time that there were taxiable live Jags – it came as quite a surprise. The serials were XX821 & XX965.
Thank you all for the kind comments – they are truly appreciated. 🙂
Well done with the new camera – but sad to see.
Yes please – if you can send to hydealfred@sky.com
It would be much appreciated.
Thanks
I was wondering, have the wings been ‘repaired’ by just skinning over the cut with thin sheet – no structural work done?
Richard
Thank you all –
The above is near to fact – although we have been told there are “RSJ’s” providing support in the wings. I dont think there is any ribbing to attach the ali sheets to at the moment. It is very thin gauge and flex’s very easily.
Great shots of the Hunters in formation and good news on the Canberra.
I would very much like to see such an event at Old Sarum. I’m sure there would be much interest if advertised on the various forums etc.
XS420 Website
Hello All
Just to advise the XS420 website is now up and running 🙂
All the best.
Richard.
Thank you very much all – if you do want to come along of a weekend – please let me know and I will be there to greet you 🙂
3 live Buccs! 🙂
Thanks all for the kind comments.
Indeed 3 live Buccs but this time they did not all come along together due to brake problems with both the camo ones. So XX894 did a solo taxi and run and luckily they fixed the brakes and the other two came along a bit later. 🙂
