Great shots. If it was not for the Ottawa show I would have been there. Thanks for posting.

Yes, it is dedicated to Andrew Mynarski who lost his life trying to save the tail gunner. I really wish they would remove the dedication from the nose and place it in a less conspicuous spot.

I do but not posted. I will try and get one up later today. I have to say I thought it would look better, but it is still very impressive.

Hey guys, sorry for holding out for so long. They just revived me after shooting the fabulous Russell Trio. I have to say it was one of the highlights of my life and an extreme privilege to shoot these aircraft. A special thanks goes to John Romain, Alan Walker, Walter Eichhorn, Ed Russell, Frank Schaufler and photoplane pilot Kent Beckham. My website will be updated every day with pics but my time right now is at a premium. I just added a 109 page tonight. Tomorrow the Hurricane if I can get the time.

Just some of the images I took on Sunday morning.

Got to see the Vimy in Toronto last night and the engines sound great. Very throaty. It will receive some engine work at TO as well as some camera gear being installed before it flies over to St. Johns. See the thread I posted with the photos from last night.

I would be more then happy to be the photographer. Just strap me in the back of an open B-25 and bring it on. I learn from other’s mistakes. Sunrise over the Cliffs of Dover with a Spit and Me109 dueling it out. Bring it on !

I did an air to air shoot a few years ago with Jerry and MJ730. You can view the images here http://www.airic.ca/html/spitfire_mj730.html

As well, I recently visited the Fighter Factory and you can see some of the images here http://www.airic.ca/html/fighter_factory.html

D-70 is what I use and it is excellent. Over 7,000 images since June.

Operates just like a 35mm camera and has a very long life battery. Excellent auto focus in tracking or single servo. Fast processing of large files. No complaints.

    Cheers,
