WA638’s delivery date is given as 21/11/49 according to the UK Serials Resource centre,making it a tad older than NASA’s B-52.

excellent pic’s Moondance,dont suppose you know which C-47 was used,saw it at Binbrook when the B-17’s arrived but couldn’t i.d the machine.

Harvard IIB KF183 is or should still be in use with the RAF/Qinetiq at Boscombe Down.
