Heard the Flying Bulls DC-6 overhead just a few minutes ago, en-route to Liverpool according to FR24 at 14000ft.

Aero Legends Dakota G-ANAF heading south at about quarter past three this afternoon.

According to the AL Facebook page, it was heading to northern France for some practice parachute drops in preparation for this years D-Day 80th anniversary celebrations.

I note that it is now ‘Pending’ on the PF website.

Well, £3.1 million was the final figure.

However, some people in the live comments were suggesting it didn’t sell because it failed to meet the estimated minimum of £3.5 million, and that the auctioneer didn’t say the prized word of ‘Sold’.

There didn’t appear to be a reserve, but I’m sure we’ll soon find out if it did find a new owner.

The 504 project went for £450,000.

First bid for 415 was 1.2 million, now at 2.6!
