doubt FCA (or any of the charter carriers!) will fly to CFU this time of year. you’re better off looking at the likes of Olympic, Aegean Airways and other majors to get you there. last time i checked there was nothing direct from the UK.

LGKR, only rumour I’ve heard of is Wizz from NCL to BUD & WAW
its rumoured Wizz will take the BUD flights from EZY next timetable.. I’d love to see it happen!
someones mentioned Air Berlin too this past week, but possibly a domestic UK flight!
cant find anything to back up the rumours though! 🙂
P.S Thomsonfly 737’s at NCL next summer?? 😮
an experience! lol
Done MAN-ALC some time ago now and loved it! mucky interiors, loud engines but with first class service – true british charter!!
LGKR
Stunning, I love the sharpness of your shots but to be brutally honest I don’t like the angles of the first to – but that’s just my opinion
who cares?
thanks for the shots squire, its good to share!
LGKR
GKirk,
Have you heard anything about an Eastern European LCC planning flights in/out of NCL?
LGKR
very nice!!!
anyone think the bird would look better without the eyebrows?
that combo i’d like to see! (winglets and eyes!)
LGKR
related or unrelated (who cares!):
Ryanair have a £5 and £9.99 seat sale on which lasts until February time.
I’ve just booked NCL-DUB-NCL yesterday for £20 inc taxes, for two of us to go in a fortnight.
perfect fares for anyone going to the meet!
i’ve been up in NCL allday… not heard or seen a thing!
hardly a conspiracy theory is it? some people should get out more!! :p
Martin started this thread in June, so I think you can hardly blame him for it coming back up!
t’was a question not a statement.

I’m curious. What exactly was shown in this TV programme on C4 to warrant this new bout of allowing Alpha None discussion? Did it show the first passenger-carrying flight taking off? Did it show the founder’s pilots licence etc. with a friendly chap from the CAA affirming it was real and not a figment of an over-active imagination? In short, what exactly did it change in the laughable situation we all know so much about?
here-here! why the extremely sudden change?
because martin started this thread?
LGKR
Well I’m not sure of regs, but this is how it currently stands at Newcastle (NCL) next year:
Thomsonfly – 2x B757, 1x B737
Thomas Cook – 2x B757
FlyJet – 1x B757
MyTravel – 1x A320
Excel Airways – 2x 737, 1x 757I think a Monarch A330 is based half week to operate the 2x weekly Orlando and 1x weekly Puerto Plata flights.
Durham Tees Valley
Thomsonfly – 1x B757 (If not, a 737-800)
excellent stuff, should see an even busier summer up here than last!!
IMHO BA is a much better airline, LCCs are indeed for the traveller who is tight to be really honest, but still some have to use LCCs as Legacy’s do not serve the route required, but say I wanted to go London to Barcelona i’d use BA anyday over the LCC for the TWP (tight-wad person – in such a case).
After reading the Airliner World Article “Is low cost truly low cost” i have turned against LCCs completely
What the lowcost airlines have done not just for themselves, but their employees and the airports they fly to is fantastic. Let alone the travelling public. I’ve been on four holidays in the past year, 3 of those were because I got cheap flights with easyJet and Ryanair. The money I saved on flights (by flying direct aswell btw, remember from alot of regional airports you have to fly via somewhere with the likes of BA) got me an extra night or two away and in a better hotel with more drinking money.
great news for NCL!
the flight times actually seem reasonable aswell and a great mix of destinations to add to the current list!!
LGKR
obviously
