some pretty cool photos RIPConcorde, keep ’em comin!!!
i agree with wannabe aswell, Stansted is by far the best terminal i have ever had the pleasure of passing through – light, clean and very very efficient (with the security point being the exception there). gonna have to fly there from NCL oneday if i can find a flight cheap enough with U2 :p

a great report and a good selection of pictures, well done!

defo Gill Airways – think the stripey tail livery was the old one when they went bankrupt. if i can remember rightly the tails on the newer ATR’s had a signature type title on there as apposed to the stripes…
…still miss them birds at Newcastle! lol 😮

nice models ren, must have cost a pretty penny :p
question for you really – ive told that one of my geminis may be worth abit more than the others normally are. Virgin Atlantic 747-400 in the old red and white livery. i think shes nicknamed lady penelope. do you have any ideas if shes rare or not and how much she might fetch on the likes of ebay!?!
cheers,

very political @ concordesst 😀
ditto, when i was up there last it was a total waste of time – could see bog all! if you or your nanna can drive the end of the runway where Britannia described is well worth a look. you cant see much past the terminal landside neither although i was lucky enough to ctach this bird up there a few weeks ago…
Second base? -i’m guessing Stansted after the Go merger…
yeah ben, just i though that only BA mainline operate in/out of NCL now..
well done bud – it looks fantastic. do you know exactly which services SN uses the 319 on???
could be wrong but i thought that the 737-500’s that BA have or had were owned by franchise partenrs such as Maersk and Citiflyer. Anyone shed anymore light?
on a similar note, iv never seen a -500 series at NCL ever.
