dont suppose any had a sniff of why EZY A319 G-EZEA was at EGNT at 16:00 today do they!? its rumoured to have been crew training here earlier in the day (or atleast another A319 was). Managed to take a pic and have posted it on another post if anyones interested…

must have been 16:00-ish today.
there wasnt much else of interest; a single EZY733 and a MyTravel A321 in hybrid colours. There was also some regional traffic in the form of a fly.be 146, Wideroe Dash8 and an Air France Regional Embraer plus some Eastern Airways birds…
very nice…
-sharp
-bright
-fun 😀
if i want to head out under the approach i’m going to Dinnington, right??
great stuff – cheers!
got the times Britannia – im going up to NT today..
cheers, just wanted to see whether or not it wud be worth venturing around the field…
can i see these pics from under 07 Britannia!?
shame about the views… i was hoping to go up to NCl tomorrow morning for some shots on my new digicam seeing as this is the first weekend ive had off work since last august 😮
in the long-term though i think the disruption will be well worth it. the pics you see above show an extension on to what was a roof of the level below the one where the cafe/bar stands. this was a total pain in the ass for viewing the tarmac and runway in the past so hopefully this will change as and when this new extension on the first floor is completed – giving uninterupted views of the closest parked aircraft (often BA birds) and the runway area in general.
if i can blag the car in the morning i’m definitely going to have a drive up, will post the pics as and when tomorrow – depending on whether or not i can use the digicam
cheers,

it looks great i think, so does the new one!!!
i’m still saying that they should get hold of next-gen 737’s sometime soon – make them truly low-cost 🙂

pretty sure thats not Monarch purple – well not to me anyway!!
Its Greek registered so i’m guessing its not leased from Monarch. Won’t their aircraft be wanted back from leases soon to begin offering tour operators summer capacity!?
got a good few inches here now… its been a weird day in Durham – small snow showers off and on allday. Its falling thick and fast at the minute, lying too…..
you can still sit in the cafe area upstairs in the terminal, getting reg’s etc without any problems. u get a fairly good view of the whole field from up there – the only problem being an obscured view because of the departures hall which is significantly lower vertically than where the food area is, moving away you.
if you take alook at http://www.airnorth.co.uk theres a few spotting places featured that are off the field and within walking distance from the terminal.
if you’ve any questions martin, or anyone else, just post back and i’ll do my best to answer…
