No Tommy, I believe all of TUI’s airlines (including Thomsonfly + HapagLloyd) will all be rebranded (AGAIN!) under the one brand, TUIFLY. The livery is basically the same as the Thomsonfly livery is now, the blue however is replaced by YELLOW.

She’s still here at 20:20, I’ve counted 12 circuits while I’ve been watching!
Looked great in the evening sun earlier!!
the title of the topic is alittle misleading…
Good luck bmi and well done those who are card holders!
Nightsopping at NCL in the summer is (roughly:) )
7 x EZY 737-700
2 x LS 737-300 1 x Bae146 1 x 757
1 x AF CRJ
1 x KL f100/737
1 x BA a319/320
2 x TOM 757 1 x 737-800
2 x XLA 757 1 x 737-800
4 x T3 J41’s
2 x TCX 757
1 x FJE 757
2 x MYT a321Think thats about right
Not just the one XLA757?
I think the point being made Lukey is that NCL will not have 30 aircraft overnight at any one point, unless in extreme circumstances. Lets not forget that some of the XLA/TOM/TCX/MYT/FJE flights will operate into the early hours of the morning, eliminating the need for some of these spaces too.
as far as AF, KL and BA etc losing business I think they probably will. With AMS being a popular weekend break place, I wouldnt be surprised if LS started to dominate the route. As far as connections are concerned, to the East at least, I would rather fly from NCL-DXB then to wherever I am going that NCL to that godforsaken dump that is LHR, then connect somewhere else, then get to where I want to be.
I had been thinking the same about Amsterdam, LS I think take most of the business traffic aswell as the leisure traffic these days. KL (mainly because of pricing?) have lost business customers to Jet2, leaving KL feeding AMS from the airport.
EZY to a degree also feed CDG in a very similar way, leaving AF (Brit Air) to carry mostly connection customers. On the other hand, KL send 737’s now aswell as the F70/F100. AF use smaller birds these days, CRJ700’s? when they used to have Gill Air F100’s on the routes til 2001
And so the Airlinerworld curse strikes again! :diablo:
You said it!!
Anyone have any news on how or if there will be an impact on Astraeus?
Weren’t the two carriers connected through wet-leasing of the AEU 733’s and also merger talks at some point?
LGKR
Why won’t they?
Do you have any evidence that the airbridge on 9 was built specifically for them? Emirates was a major coup for NCL, particuarly after AA suspended JFK services before they even began but I don’t see how or why they would potentially need to bend over so far backwards to please them.
IMO, and i could be very very very wrong here, but I don’t see the pax uplift being as strong as NCL or most of the enthusiasts on places like here would like to think. Sure both the airport and the airline will have done their homework on this but I do think most of the Emirates traffic will be generated at the cost of AF, BA and KL – all of whom feed their CDG, LHR and AMS hubs with feeder flights from NCL for worldwide connections.
Your thoughts…?

lets just hope things get better financially now.

This rumour has circulated NCL for a while now, Believe it when you see it.
Coincidentally, I doubt the stand 9 development has anything to do with EK.
Two things really,
1. I wouldn’t have said LS have saved the route, common sense tells us someone would step in at some point.
2. I wouldn’t be suprised if EZY commence a flight offering too, with direct competion to LS. Gatwick is easyJets biggest operating base now (i think!) the potential for them (publically and finanically) to take on an ex-BA route will be huge.
LGKR
Aye i heard that a gatwick based A/C would do the route as NCL is still all 737 and doesn’t have the trained crews yet.
Heard from where?
