always liked the go-fly adverts that appeared on local radio when go first started operating out of Newcastle – one guy, one deep voice murmering “go-go-go-go-go-go” at the end of some jingle.
cheap and cheerful but fun :-p
“iiiissss tttthhhheeeerrrreeee aaaannnnyyyybbbbooooddddyyyy tttthhhheeeerrrreee!?!?!?!?!” lol
*gotta imagine it said really quietly and really slowly*
can see a new ‘European’ name emerging – most likey with a Euro-white livery 😀
Economies of scale for this new airline would be huge but I’d imagine the integration to be a complete logistical and personnel nightmare – imagine fleet restructuring and teams from both airline having to work together :p
just me or does anyone else find the JAT Airways livery really cool and fun!?!?
its looking good – has anyone heard anymore on the A318 front??
new series of mile high T5??
great stuff…. can’t wait to see one of the taxi’s here!!!
well most of that is a bit of a given – was perhaps referring to more exciting services rather than a “jumbo not a 737”
who operates it!?
knowing the airfield fairly well everything looks pretty much logical. hope the new carparks give some sort of reasonable views though – the current facilites are crap!!!
would like to see some bigger birds here aswell, a Far Eastern or regular Canadian service would be fantastic!!!
how typicals that britannia + pembro???
we always seem to get the bront of it here where I am bcos we’re so high up in the hills – should make an interesting week going to and from college and work next week then seeing as I don’t have the use of the car for a whole 5 days!!! 🙁
really VERY rich!? lol 😀
thought u were only 16
working part-time for dixons may eventually allow me to speak some use on here, or at least pass on some customer comments 😀
The Z1 is supposed to have a fantastic little lense on it. Clear, light with a fair field of vision. its user interface is meant to have been significantly improved over earlier Minolta versions (where from a customer viewpoint the company has often lost out to the likes of Agfa, Fuji and Kodak) too.
Advantages include the 10x optical zoom (excellent for hobby photography such as this) and the fact the power comes from AA rechargables (a must as your ordinary alkaline batteries may only last 10-15mins) gives you the advantage of using such batteries if you ever caught out when air force one begins a descent 🙂
an obvious disadvantage to owning a minolta digicam can come from the price of the memory format it uses – Secure Digital (SD) or Multimedia (MMC). these cards are often, throughout our company, priced quite abit higher than other formats. but to be honest, like you’ve seen the camera cheaper, its ust a case of looking for a really good buy because you WILL DEFINITELY require some larger memory cards – particuarly for your BEST or BETTER quality shots!
so to sum up, after the ramble lol its apparently a fantastic camera, something you shouldnt really be able to go wrong with! 😉
cheers,
LGKR
yeh a great set of pics…. love the Continental 757 – anyone else love the c/s? its elegant yet fun!?
