RE: Flying to Freeport (Grand Bahama)
Yeah….. I think the arrangement was primarily with BA and Flying Colours Airlines, which inturn got passed to JMC Airlines. I recall the arrangment being BA supplied the aircraft and flight crew, Flying Colours supplied the cabin crew on long-haul/caribbean routes.
As for the JMC premium cabin, its called JMC+ and you should really read my JMC flight review for an idea on service etc (was however on a different aircraft – 757 not A330 with premium cabin).

RE: easyjet Cabin Crew
we do giv EZY a break! It was you who slagged off the cabin crew and safety demo in your first post remember!
– hence my contradiction post!!
lol
RE: easyjet Cabin Crew
Anyone else smell a slight contradiction???
RE: Charters pulling out….
i think Air 2000 pulling out of Newcastle is down to the implications of September 11 – msut have found it unviable to operate or should i say base an aircraft there.
Similarly JMC Airlines pulled out of regional airports, cant remember which ones but I believe it may be London Luton and/or Cardiff and Bristol Airports – wouldn’t bet my life on those airprots though!
RE: Model Aircraft
I have a huge Air UK Fokker 100
– a bugger to keep clean and takes up alot of space in my bedroom :p

Pembo,
I see you’re in Middlesborough – kinda close to me in County Durham 🙂
Ever get down to EGNT very much, or are you an EGNV kinda guy??
Would be good to hear from you on here – swap email addresses??

RE: Anyone know the best day f
T5 – the likes of the smaller Boeings and Buses appeal to me much more than watching huge heavies arrive and depart. I dont really know why, possibly because I’ve nearly always flown the 757 or wotever when I’ve been on my travels.
Don’t get me wrong though, flying on the 744 was a fantastic experience but i just so prefer the smaller aircrafts – especially those operated by IT Operators!!!
Just thought I’d argue my case as to why I like Corfu for its smaller traffic as opposed to seeing large heavies 🙂
