    Quite possibly – imagine what we’d get though after Boeing replaced the 727 with the 757!!!

    you’re quite right saying that they wont stop production unless customers stop ordering, they’d be silly not to really..

    Funnily enough, it was a delay on a flight to Corfu in 1993/4! The Ambassador 757 we were supposed to board at Newcastle, UK was supposedly stranded in Corfu becuase of freak thunderstorms. Anyway, several slanging matches later the airline leased a Belgian aircraft (was a red DC-10-any ideas???) and 10 hours later we arrived at a very sunny airport – passing the Ambassador with an engine cowling missing as we taxied to our stand!
