Please let’s not try to second guess pilots names, they have probably not been released yet because family members still need to be informed, and families looking for information on google may come across this thread.

It’s very easy to work with Peter regarding photos. He’s been giving me a couple over the last years for me to use, and he was the first I turned to when I managed to get hold of a photo I assumed (and still do) was not very known, or known at all.

Looking into the not so distant future, we might have three airworthy Gladiators.
Shuttleworth, TFC and the Norwegian example at Kjeller. Could be something bringing them all together once.

See on other forums that its confirmed what I had heard; pilot inadvertent gear up select as it vacated the runway. Was this Merlin 1 or another jockey?

Their posts are still with us today, still being read by others. Still relevant so to speak. I would appreciate that if I were to disappear. I would find comfort that others would still read my stuff a decade later. Would feel like I was still here, doing the regular banter.
