Please don’t stay in Kirkaldy unless you have to. The Kingdom of Fife is a wonderful area but Kirkaldy not so much.

I pointed it out to my wife just now, but she replied she didn’t care as it can’t be worse than where we normally live. 😀

Was it from the drawing boards of Sir S Camm

I pointed out the DC-3 from Norway in an article last year doing a manouver which was simply “a bit too much”. I remember it even made Chabbert go quiet (when did that ever happen? :D) and people beside me gasped by the wingover it did. The pilot of the aircraft was not very pleased with my comment on his manouvers and told me so! I still stand by my comment though, but I have to accept that he (them) know better than a desktop-pilot like me with my only claim to fame is a Me262 kill on Aces High in a Spit XIV!

Yes, I was on the Tank Bank, quite close to one of the food stalls. Or was it coffee they sold? Anyway, that’s where I was.

I would like to thank all those who have posted very sensible comments about the situation, and to those who think my purchase of them is somehow outrageous I would just like to hope that, when the dust has settled, you will appreciate that their sale offers the chance to see another two Spitfires in the air where they truly belong, a situation that was unlikely to have ever happened if they had remained where they were.
