The FW109 feels to me like the CAA’s version of Chinese Democracy.
Did it fly?
Did it?
Did it?? 😀
I have no idea whatsoever, but my gut says “no way”. I hope my gut is wrong.
All fingers crossed!! 😀
Yeah there’s a gazillion web-sites and tutorials on how to do it, all of varying quality.
Just google for “photoshop photo tinting” for a start.
Well obviously. 😀
I just pointed it out here because people might have specific expertise with ww2/aviation coloured photos.
Really?
If I had more time tonight I would dig into it and see what I could find. If anyone finds the thread, link it. I would love to have a go at it myself.
Not sure I fully understand the complaints about these “newly manufactured” Spitfires. If they’re still to fly for years and years into the future, that is obviously the only way to go?
I’d take anything to see them flying when I’m an old geezer at the BoB 100th anniversary. :dev2:
This is probably a really daft question, but who bought it…?
I could say it was me…but it would be lying. :diablo:
DCK – Knowing the team at NW, I doubt there would be a problem, providing you drink the tea!
Tip noted! 😀
I just took a taxi from Epping to Stansted when I was in the area. I didn’t think it was overly expensive. Depends what you’re used to on cab fares probably! 😀
The taxi will take you all the way over to the Squadron I think. One came and picked me up when I was at The Squadron once. Thankfully, I must say. The walk isn’t the shortest.
I’m playing with the idea of going to North Weald/Epping to do some serious writing on my book projects. For inspiration mainly. Not sure how The Squadron feels of a guest who stays for the entire opening hours drinking tea, stealing electricity and typing away on a laptop!
Absolutely Tempest
That was the most beatiful thing I have ever seen.
That can’t be good…
That simply looks not right. It’s like a Spitfire that came out of a factory when it was all run on workers with a bad hangover. :p
Makes me be scared of nightmares only by looking at it.
Sad to see the possibility of it going, but excited incase of new arrivals!
