I flew from Franfurt in 2004 in a Lufthansa A340-300 i guess it was like been on a HS Trident 1, as it certainly was a gripper and its slow climb out!
did an expedia trip about 10 years ago man to frank to pearson and back
we prob went over on our lufthansa A340
the Thomas Cook 757 300 lovely bird but boy is it cramped in side 28 inches pitch i reckon
in the early 70s the end of the arms was great for getting close to the runway
but boy was i noisey when the Dan-Air comets took off
cant say about ERJs but last summer i did Vegas to LAX in a challenger 200 and that was a great flight
and will these have seat back tv screens? i would not want to do across the pond flights without
its the 21st century!!!!

we used Virgina excellent service last summer LGW TO Vegas and back to HRW from LA, i struggle to see without holiday makers on a lot of routes how they would make money at all
like how many passengers on the Antugua run are on business or just visiting family? my guess is 80% are holidaymakers

I tyried to buy one of those 707 4 series conway jet pods from Alton scrapyard when they broke up the BA 707 from Cosford a few years back
alas the price was balked at by the wife
so my collection never got “off the ground”
