Yaks still have white stars on the wings and as far as I know the Abkhazian L-39 with the badge was a fakepic of an Afghan one.

Im aware of that photo.

There are other pics out there of Albatrosses sporting these markings, so i assume the fake was based on those.

Abkahzia’s air arm is a rag-tag air force, this is why there is no standard insignia.
Both Aero L-39s and Yaks still used the faded stars.

They did during the early years. The L39s now sport the badge shown in an earlier post on the fin, and the Yaks have the Abkhazian flag.

I have photos to prove it too, which i would post….but this site wont let me.

Though im sure there were photos posted in an earlier post or thread?

Its a possibility that they are Yemeni. However, Yemeni Hinds dont carry their digits on the nose and the ones ive seen have an entirely different camo scheme.

The other thing is, the fat guy in the Hind Pic is also photographed in the same album standing in front of a Syrian Gazelle;)

Maybe some of our Israeli friends have pics of syrian hinds that were lost in the Bekaa during the eighties? Sometimes i think the Israelies could be more forthcoming:D

Are those Saudi pics related to the recent action with Northern Yemen, since they dont look like they are carrying training rounds?
