Pakistans new scheme for its Cobras:cool:

Hey guys,
This is just a thought, but why not post interesting threads such as this within the Small Air Forces thread?.
It would certainly add a little more info to go with the excellent photos already published there.
As long as debate is solely concerned with equipment and orbats ect, and remains non-political, then it would only enhance an already very popular thread.
Wad ya think mods?:D
India..
Of course!
The old grey matter aint functioning to well today im afraid:rolleyes: 😀
Fantastic find, fabe! Not just because of the picture, but because it looks that we have finally solved one mystery that occupied the heads of some of the best fellow pic collectors for quite a time! I personally also gave up and accepted the idea about Uganda, now we DO know these two are ETAF !!!
[
And the light grey one belongs to who?;)
Take account of the two warzones we are currently operating in, our numerous other commitments, maintenance, and the fact that we have to wait up to two years for all the helicopters to be available……then this looks just like a cosmetic exercise to hide the goverments embarrassing lack of funding, and backing to its own armed forces.
The word “kneejerk” comes to mind:rolleyes:
something different from “eagle claw”… that’s my point…. or even someting like “Linebacker”
I would prefer a Desert Storm, but the World community shows no common consensus on the problem of Iran…..
Iraq has seen to that:mad:
For all those interested there are two pics of Zairean Mi-24 in the German magazine “Fliegerrevue Extra” (an amazing magazine). Both wear Zairean roundels!
Any chance of scanning and posting them Fabe?
15 man waiting….
Whats your point?
An airfield in Afghanistan, and in the background are a group of anominous looking Mi.17V-5’s. Are they Afghan owned?.

The sand coloured hip is a clue, but not a definate indicator to whom operates them, but if US operated…are they special forces/Army or, company toys?.
Yup, as scanned from World Air Power Journal of Winter 1994. Same goes for Cy24driver’s pics of the Mi-17 and AN-26…
And Air International about two years beforehand;)
I think somebody somewhere, has been snorting some of that Colombian exported powder:D
Check post #1493 by cy24driver show two more Hinds in the lighter colours. Photos taken on the same place and shows the othe clolour scheme to be Ugandian too.
Yep!, i can live with that:cool: 🙂
