Two Hinds photographed at Entebbe during 2006, with a rather airworthy looking MiG.17F Fresco sitting further back.
The first Hind is definatly Ugandan as it carries a roundal, the two-tone green one behind is not so clear.
It may indeed be Ugandan, but is it an example from Burundi?
A burundian Hind is pictured below for comparison.

The Mi-35’s in Kiev are possibly from Libya! A few Libyan examples were noted at Gostomel during 2006. Colours also seem to match.
Any other pics of these birds??Ecm
That thought did cross my mind, and the first two may well be for that customer.
However, there are three distinct Camo jobs viewable, and i cant think why Libya would operate their Hinds in such a diversity of Schemes.
Indeed, i do have a pic of around six Libyan Hinds being loaded for delivery in Kiev, and they all sport the same Sand and Brown scheme as the first two machines in the Pic i posted.:)
Just when i start thinking that i have my Blood pressure under control, up pops another heart-stopper….this thread of late, just rocks:cool:
Lets keep up it up people, my Doc will love yous for it:D

MiGman…..
You have just made my day….its better than xmas:D
Where did you find them? (Ugandan MiGs)
Doe anyone know the operator of this rather inconspicuous looking King Air?
Its registered as ET-AKA, and is carried in small letters at the lower rear fuselage.
It carries no comercial titling, its only other marking being that of the small Ethiopian Fin flash.
Furthermore, it seems to be equiped with a Bubble window, and communications fit, which kind of suggests some type of Goverment or Police role?
Take a pew, let me know what you think.

Somebody out there knows to where these Mi.35V Hinds are destined……dont they:confused:
Line-up pictured at Kiev during 2006.
All are painted in what appears to be a sand and brown scheme, with Light Blue under surfaces…accept two, that appear to have wrap around camo on the store pylons.
Two different customers or a single batch?
Someone help!!:D

Thanks Googler.
You have a very good eye for detail, and as such, ive now filed in the dubious folder:D
Another Algerian MiG-25, showing the unit badge upon the fin.

Yellow roundels or not, i need to know why that UBT is fake…
Is it photo-shopped?
Explain please:confused:
Fake??
How can you tell?
If it is a fake, then it fooled me:mad:
first algerian UBT enjoy:cool:
Piranas and SU-24
Great finds people, keep em coming:cool:
Five images for you, the first shows a former Taliban MiC-21bis in relatively good nick, during 2001.
The other four images cover Ethiopian Mi.17’s. Yes, we have seen them before, but check out the roundal.
Thing is, do other Ethiopian Aircraft types wear this roundal???

Banshee,
The Tanzanian J-6 is an impressive find indeed. Beaoucup de chapeau as the French say.
Did you receive by chance other similar pics ?
I do have, but its safer that i refrain from posting them, since they are from the same batch that i recieved from another poster, to the one that has just been removed:confused:
Calimero
Do you have any higher res pictures of the Azeri stuff you have posted?
I’m no expert on this, but I think that they could have been passing thing like this unique roundel carried in early days onto the newer version of Mi-171 Hip that appears to be fresh from the production line in order to make use of it well into the present-day.:diablo:
I think that roundel is unique to the Border Guards. If you look to the rear of the fuselage, you can see the White Bar that identifies that service.
Nice pics by the way:)
