Indeed luis; secretoscuba is where I got it from.
The thing is, have you, or anyone else, ever seen such a rudder flash on angolan MiG-21s?
Silly question:rolleyes: 😀

Does anybody know if there were any Libyan Fencers shown during the LAXEX2006 airshow?
None to my knowledge
On a closer look the Angolan one seems to have a black radome, just like the original Iranian Su-24MKs have. The only countries having been delivered desert-painted Fencers with white radome seem to be Iraq (out of question), Syria (doubtful, no exact info available) and Algeria. Since AlgAF is known to upgrade their Su-24MKs to MK2 (MK bis) standard, I would rather place my bet on Algeria here.
Cheers flex,
I will certainly bow to your knowledge here, and say Algerian.
I stillt hink that frogfoot is from Abkhazia..
Heres the frogfoot again, then their Albatross…see the star marking, identical.
Now note the Kazack roundal…
See, their are no appendiges to the star on the first two, and the star is red not yellow!.

These couple of Fencers were Photographed last year in Russia, and aswell as sporting the standard export camo, are awaiting the application of codes and insignia…
But whos??
I think the two latest customers have been Angola, and Algeria (again)?
My bet is Angola, since images from google tell us that they were actually delivered wearing this scheme.

Does anybody have a Pic of a Ghanian Wessex??
In fact, Kazakhstan was my first thought, but AFAIK they don’t have Su-25’s. Unless it’s a picture from the days when they still had some (???).
If i were a betting man, my money would go on that Sukhoi belonging to Abkhazia.
Like Fabe has said, the Star is the same as on that republics Albatrosses.
The star looks solid yellow, rather than red fading to yellow, and there is no other markings visible around the star, which would be the case if it were Kazak.
Another interesting pointer is that the original red star marking seems to have been covered by the application of another colour tothe fin, the Yellow star then applied over it?
Nice find Calimero, keep it up:cool: 😉
P57
Cool pics!
Did you take them yourself, or is thier a link to a website that you may have found them on?:)
Pictures of Tunisia’s G222 are still missing, those would be really great
Thanks
GFL
Its the only one ive managed to find.
Its wearing dual markings, so possibly taken just prior to delivery:cool:

PLA-MKII’s lesson in media propaganda 101:
Did the Iranian president actually say “wiped off the map”? Apparently it was a “translation error” (or deliberate propaganda)
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article12790.htm
for those of you who do not believe please take the original text of his speech in persian and go to the nearest university and have it translated. or try babelfish.
this “mad man” never said “wiped off the map” at all. 😮
Interesting….
Though im not sure i trust babelfish, did a search with that some time ago,and only got washing machines back..(i tell a lie, it was not only the washing machines, since the image search was more than a little interesting lol:eek: )
Both! Ahmadinejad views pretty much reflects that of Khamenei. To dismiss Iran would be stupid. But Isreal claims it’s only defending its existence when it does pre-emptive strikes. Now does that theory only hold true to Isreal or does apply to any country under threat?
All the while people jump up and down claiming how great god is. god must love drinking human blood.
Gods a Jerk…its in his name this **** is fought:(
Iraq wouldn’t be a issue if the world collectively stood together to solve its problems…………..and unfortunately the world as a whole will pay for it!
Agreed.
It kind of reminds you of 1938:rolleyes:
When the US pulls out of Iraq what would prevent Iran from invading. Then using Nuclear Weapons as Blackmail to any likely Counter Attack! 😮 Remember, appeasement has never been a very successful strategy……:o
Thats my point…..
Iraq just muddied the waters…we can either do as the UN wishes, and ignore the comning crises…or we step up to the brim.
But after Iraq, can we have the trust of the western public???
( Quote 0Really? Apart from an 8 year conflict with Iraq, what real problems has Iran caused in the region? Personally I don’t think the Middle East will ever be settled simply due to the large multitude of religious sects that are in play (Sunni, Shi’a, etc). (Quote )
No disagreement with you on that sentiment…
We can all argue the toss whom is right or whom is wrong…but the fundimental cause behind the middle east conflict is not political.
It is religious and cultural, hence why it is important to us all, that we try to curtail Iran, but also be seen as treating Isreal in a equal way.
(QUOTE)Yup. And the real problem isn’t Iran, it’s constant Western coddling of Israel. Israel has one set of rules, the rest of them have another set. No wonder they get irritated.(Quote)
Agreed.
But compared to the standards of how most arab goverments behave, then i am strongly pro-isreali:cool:
