The ex french colony of Gabon operates this rather cool looking C.130H, augmented by the L.100-30 stretched model. This pic is of an earlier operated L.100-20.

Greece operates a few ex USAF B models among the more standard H model. The B was operated for a while, in the euro-1 scheme, but now carry the standard temperate scheme. Both models are pictured, aswell as a euro-1 machine.

Honduras have operated both the A and B, acquired from the US. One in the euro-1 scheme, and a smart white and grey bird are pictured here.

Indonesia have operated several models of the Herc over the years. First up is a low vis C.130B, followed by a dayglo C.130H and stretched C.130H-30.

Colombias fleet of H models, has over recent years been added to by surplus US B models, and Italian H models. One of the ex italian machines is pictured, still with it EW fit on its fuselage. Question. Is this fit being used by the colombians, or has it been removed??

Congo-Kinshasa inherited the former Zaire H models, though these have been fraught with spares problems, and have remained mostly grounded. However, one was recently lost in a crash, so maybe one or two are still operational.

Denmark traded in its older C.130Hs for the upgraded C.130J-30. An early H model is seen in its old Green garb, whilst the new hercs carry the new grey scheme.

Dubai operates this white painted and rather mundane looking L.100-30.

Ethiopia used this L.100-30 from Ethiopian Airlines on Military duties aswell as civil. Since then, Ethiopia has acquired some euro-1 coloured C.130Bs and a couple of white and grey coloured L.100-30s. ( i have pics, but am to lazy to resize them..later guys!)

We all know that France operates both standard H and stretched H models, but another arm of the French, namely the Securite Civale…used this C.130A, which it leased for the Fire season. Might aswell attach a proper military example!

Brazil also used Herks for SAR duties out over the Atlantic, designating them SC.130s. They wore this rather striking scheme.

One of the smartest schemes seen on miltary Herks, was this blue and white one that adorns this H model of the Cameroon Air Force. They also operate the C.130H-30 model, one seen here wearing a desert type scheme.

The impoverished nation of Chad, has acquired Herks from differing sources. The first image is of an ex RAAF C.130A, followed by an ex USAF C.130B, a newer H model, and an image of a stretched C.130H-30.

The Fuerza Aerea de Chile operates some ex USAF B models, deliverd in euro-1 schemes, they now wear this cool grey scheme. Also operated is the C.130H, which are also now appearing in the same Grey scheme. The example pictured here is wearing the older temperate pattern.

Better include a Canadian example for completeness

Belgiums fleet of C.130Hs, have been used exstensively through the last decade, flying in and out of some of the worlds worst hotspots, aswell as assisting with humanitarian relief operations. This grey bird carries UN markings.

Bolivia has recieved ex US C.130As to serve alongside the younger H model. Two C.130As are pictured here in oppossing schemes. The C.130H is seen in a smart grey and white scheme. Also pictured is a stretched L-100-20.

Botswana operates the B model, these were acquired from the US. Before their delivery, the Air force had the use of the civilian L-100-20 operated by Air Botswana.

Brazil has been and is, a major user the hercules. An early E model, and a grey H model are pictured, followed by a KC.130H tanker.

Some pics of a classic aircraft, and one that is still soldiering on in every corner of the world…the herkybird ๐Ÿ™‚

First up is Algeria, which operates the C.130H and stretched C.130H-30 models. These are further backed up by Air Algiers fleet of “civil” L.100-30s, one of which is pictured here in a very rare bare metal sheme!.

Abu Dhabi operates this C.130H in a lovely sand and tan scheme.

Argentina is one of a number of countries that took advantage of the retirement older US models. A C.130B is pictured in its former US euro-1 scheme…they are now wearing the more usual temperate scheme, shown in the pictures of the C.130H and Tanker KC.130H. The other picture shows a stretched L.100-30.

Bangladesh is another user of ex US C.130Bs from Dhaka.
