we hope to be able to say goodbye to Beech Constructions now the hangar is 99% completed. TT is gonna finish the mezzanine tomorrow (arn’t you) i will be removing the elevator. It incurred some wind damage when we were forced out of the main hangar (nother long story).

so for me it is a day on the Beech (not Beach, that is next saturday in corfu).

might trundle about on my kettenkrad for a while if it is nice. (if you didn’t know a kettenkrad is a very ard aircraft tug, not got a me262 tho) google it.

but yes, we hope to show it on the circuit…..

Sorry can’t help with whereabouts of Sandy Topen but if it is any help my 1984 edition of Wrecks and Relics records Auster AOP9 XK416 ex 7855M/G-AYUA as being with Sandy Topen at Bushey together with an unidentified
AOP9 frame.

Bushey is/was his home, not where he kept any aircraft

sorry, don’t know if he is still about.

I believe he tried to get back onto bruntingthorpe about 3 or 4 years ago maybe longer.

didn’t happen tho………..too much history
