I/We/Beech boys from bruntingthorpe went to see it at the back end of last year…..chap wanted £10,000 for it…………spar is lets say “seen better days”…..exfoliating corrosion in the centre section mainspar…wing joints destroyed…..only 1 engine frame….all steel parts VERY rusty

completely gutted…..covered in green slime…..tucked into a yard about 10 miles from sandtoft…..big dogs guarding the place…..it is going to be a real “B” to shift it out of there.

It will cost a fortune to just get it to a static condition…..it really ain’t worth it…..it is about £9,999.99 too expensive IMO….i have pics if anyone is interested. BAHA should not waste their money….It is too late to save this one i am afraid.

the easy way to tell is by the fins

if the horizontal stabiliser (tailplane) extends outboard of the vertical fins it is a lockheed

engines look the same, cabin looks the same windows are different, landing gear looks the same

lots of similarities, but the dead giveaway if the fin thing
