Hi Mike

I have tried to contact Bill Larkins but to no avail.

MATS or the photo mapping scheme is under consideration
personally i like the Alaska markings on the F-2 variant – 1st photographic sqn but owner doesn’t like orange.
even the red and yellow from the Ronne Antarctic expedition photos i linked a couple of weeks back – this is unique but red/orange again.

thanks for the pics
maybe i should have been a little clearer on the Project
this is not a model or a profile – the information is for a complete re-spray of a Beech 18.
this is a chance to come up with an outstanding and accurate new paint scheme for an aircraft which will be seen on the UK air show circuit.
etch and priming is underway – top coat will be applied when we get the right scheme approved.
USAF 50’s / 60’s seems favorite but equally a US Navy scheme could be on the cards.
No Orange or red suggestions please – they are out.
MATS might be good but decent pictures required

Anything and everything that rolls along Bruntingthorpe’s runway!
including My Beech 18
188 views and not one comment
maybe the Beech 18 doesn’t float your boat but the human endurance associated with what they did is worth a well done.
post war only
Japanese Air Lines used AT-11 JAS 5101 from november 52.
JMSDF had 35 JRB-4’s
many references in the Beech 18 a civil & Military history by Bob Parmeter
no wartime for certain

odd 2 beech 18 threads on the same afternoon
the whole movie can be watched on youtube
watched it myself a few weeks ago
love the B-47
single seat hunter for Sywell

someone left the doors open – such a change in temperature it jumped off its jacks.
