    Hi Andy

    im working on the early merlin exhaust stubs at the moment, ive not got the drawings but just working off measurements and pictures they are going to be a while due to the lack of time and will be for the kent battle of britain museum. what museum you doing parts for? and cool projects going on.

    The printer uses a wire style filament on a 1kg roll. It lays down a layer around the size of fishing line so takes a while but has great detail.

    The parts are modelled from scans and original drawings i had help with most of these parts.
    The printer (bambulab x1c) takes a STL file which is made on the CAD software and sliced into parts the correct size for the print bed.sounds complicated but it’s fairly simple.

    A cylinder head would take around a week to print. So you can imagine how long this takes.

    i belive it is excalibur ,photo was taken in the usa last year can not remember the airshow. its good news its in europe may get to see even more p51s at legends need a good tail chase

    Hi All,
    mustangboy it is the same Mustang ‘Excalibur’ looks like it could be real trumper as if you Google P-51 Excalibur quite a few images are available but I am trying to find contact info so will e-mail the owner ?. Now owned and flown in the Czech Rep.

    it thought i was going mad when i saw the connie above hastings too , il be going fairford so it will be good to see it up close 🙂

    Yes Breitling Connie was low o/h Angmering headed W (Fairford) with small twin (Piper?) just about then.:):):)

    the spitfire is still there at hendon just the other side of the gift shop , i was there last week . the one at sun and fun florida is a great one too .
