    So they don’t mind on still deploying the s-300pmu2s despite the presence of F-22s and F-35s. It looks like they are not backing down on their words either. I have seen many reports from 5 months ago that Israel is very highly against the entire system even being turned on that they were mostly talking about destroying the thing before it turns on. US and Israel only warned Russia of the move https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-warns-russia-deploying-s-300-in-syria-would-be-major-mistake/. So when they are deploying it will they be deploying a mobile defense network along with an air force? I am thinking that the mobilization would be very quick considering how far Syria is from Russia.

    Anyone think Israel will now be forced to be friends with Syria?

    “What does it take for IDF to attack such S-300 battery where they risk kill Russian servicemen?”
    Israel never minded the Russians using an S-400 or S-300 even though it covered their airspace. They are more highly against the Syrians operating them.

    “it was supposed to have a something composite absorber that look a like a pangolin animal skin around it engines to enable all-round vectoring but keep stealth and infrared reduction- but who knows whats happened.”

    So let me get this straight. Your saying improvements are needed because the aircraft does not have enough composites like the Euro-fighter according to your 2 posts….Correct?

    Have you checked the composite percentage on either the F-22 or F-35? I assure you that if I had an F-16.net account and I said that the aircraft’s need more improvements in their composite material to match the eurofighter to be more stealthy than the eurofighter. I would have been crucified and burned alive in that forum.

    With your chart comparison of materials saying imagine improvements, than talking about the air-crafts composites in your 2nd post saying but who knows what happened? For the sake of not to further embarrass yourself I hope your not suggesting he who has more composites is stealthier than the other because that is what it seems to me.

    “There are plans to equip Su-57 warplanes with an AI system that will bring it closer to a sixth-generation unmanned aircraft,” the source said.”

    This aircraft is more of a, “I will keep on adding new ****” than turning it into an aircraft production. I am worried that if they have successfully tested radio-optical radars like their new engine the delay for production will be pushed back farther at this rate.

    Does anyone have sources about the old and new engine ferry range specifications? Sources I have received said ferry range over 3,500km for old engine and over 5,000kms for new engine is that correct?

    “but the fact of the matter is, today there are 300 F-35s flying with half a dozen air arms or so. Can we say the same for the Su-57 in 3 years time? “

    The F-35s still has alot of block softwares to go through even though its slapped with the operational sticker on it. No one knows how far the SU-57 is in its software for some of its SU-57s. I always see news articles talking about glitches and bugs on the F-35, maybe the reason why the process is slow is that they want to fix up any vulnerability for their aircrafts.

    “RSK” MiG “, however, achieved its goal and evidently took the Russian Defense Ministry by beatings. On August 22, 2018, at the military-technical forum” Army-2018 “held in Kubinka, the military department signed a contract with United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) for the delivery of six (sic!) MiG-35 and MiG-35UB fighters to the Russian military aeronautical station. The contract is due from 2018 to 2023 (that is, one aircraft per year).”

    Are they sticking radio optical radars on these aircrafts for such a long delay like the SU-57 or what? instead of 100 T-14s now I see 132. I guess aircrafts really are not a priority for them. Unless people want to argue that “art” should not be rushed.

    I feel like I am in a nightmare this week I can’t wake up from.

    1. Had Kinzhal information sold and now they lost their nuclear cruise missile in their launch(might as well sell all their project information to the US or China at this rate)

    2. Show case the invisible helmet but no video of the thing changing color. Lets all grab a regular helmet, glue yellow paper on it, have it against a yellow wall and call it invisible to create an internet meme to force Rostec to video display the thing.

    3. Kalishnikov robot suite. Show case it but the thing does not move. If South Korea has problems with their robots which are attached to cables moving them. I should have known something was not right when no cable was shown on the thing

    4. Underwater drones with assault rifles. Only images of drones but no assault rifles attached.

    5. since this is an aviation forum I saved the best for last. I remember hearing that a few SU-57s were to come out for 2018 and the full batch in 2019. This is what I got instead. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=ru&sp=nmt4&u=https:%2F%2Fbmpd.livejournal.com%2F3315844.html&xid=17259,15700022,15700124,15700149,15700186,15700191,15700201&usg=ALkJrhiuH9C7INQ7hKtIXcZ_o8ZTIN93tA#cutid1

    “As reported by the agency TASS, August 22, 2018 at the International Military Technical Forum “Army-2018”, taking place in Kubinka. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and PJSC “Sukhoi Company” signed a contract for the supply to the Armed Forces of two fifth-generation fighter aircraft Su-57 (T-50) .The contract will be executed in 2018-2020.”

    “Thus, according to known data, the contract signed for another two Su-57 (T-50) fighters brings the total number of the first serial (actually pre-series) Su-57 fighters to four, acquired in the Russian military aviation market, taking into account the existing “Dry” contract for the first two serial Su-57 (in the form of T-50S), which should be delivered in 2019. The delivery of two additional aircraft is scheduled, presumably, for 2020. In the future, according to available information, it is possible to purchase 11 more Su-57 serial fighters in the form of the first stage in 2021-2022, with plans to switch from 2023 to purchase as small batches of modernized Su-57 aircraft with a second-stage engine”

    Someone turn my beer into moonshine I want to forget that this week even existed

    “There was no concrete planned production (beyond the 12 units about to be signed)” Atleast we both have an agreement that the 12 aircrafts are still rolling meaning SU-57 threads will live on lol.

    “The coating can reflect color changes and imitate complex graphical depictions, up to the leaves wavering in the wind, Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov said”

    More:
    http://tass.com/defense/1017840

    Just more confirmation that the helmet is going to be displayed. Chemezov said, “invisible to the naked eye” than said “like a chameleon” Which can still be possibly seen by the naked eye.” but by this up to date statement, instead of Harry Potter’s invisible cloak its more of a I change color to my environment like a chameleon helmet. I am guessing that there might be a possibility that even UAVs can possibly be equipped with this along with their other equipment to make visibility difficult for their enemies. But still noteworthy to mention where they possibly stand in developing stealth material.

    “Poor guys at Sukhoi & MoD, they don’t know cancellation of the program is imminent “

    There is a difference between Borisov saying cancelled program or cancelled production. I believe he said production because of some new engines. All these F-16.net posts is giving me a strong urge to create an account over there, make a reply that will draw about 10 users getting pissed off than have the account deleted the next day just to go over there to create another account. However the admin that owns both these forums(found that out when I created an account there got banned and could not make same account here with same email) might get pissed start banning my IP and MAC address(which of course I heard can be spoofed), but I have no needs to get the admin pissed off.

    This was the L-265M10-02 Khibiny-M EW shown at the Maks airshow. Heard that this EW has had similar claims of masking other aircraft(besides masking themselves in EW) like the brand new Tarantula EW that was to put be on the modernized SU-34s by 2020. Himalayas operational by 2019, Tarantula operational by 2020. L-175M EW system use to be on the SU-35 than got replaced with the L-265M. Rostec in 2014 mentioned GaN MMICs for Himalayas, Tarantula and Khlibiny-M. However the only articles and news references I have found only introduced the idea of L-265M in 2017.

    http://www.airrecognition.com/index.php/archive-world-worldwide-news-air-force-aviation-aerospace-air-military-defence-industry/defense-security-exhibitions-news/air-show-2017/maks-2017-news-coverage-report/3641-kret-spotlights-new-khibiny-m-ew-system-at-maks-2017.html

    “We are showing the Khibiny-M system onboard a Sukhoi Su-35 [NATO reporting name: Flanker-E+] plane for the first time here. Just one year ago, the system completed its state trials. We are delivering it to the Russian Armed Forces and foreign countries where it is in great demand,” adviser to the KRET first deputy CEO Vladimir Mikheyev said at a press conference during the MAKS 2017 airshow.”

    http://www.armstrade.org/includes/periodics/news/2018/0619/095547280/detail.shtml

    “Aviation units continue to receive advanced systems of electronic warfare “Khibiny”. Continue like as in they already had it in their units but they need more. Also the state trials were done a year ago so the New Khibiny instead of the old one was tested somewhere in 2016. GaN mmics being introduced in 2014 for these new systems(khlibiny-m,himalayas, tarantula), new khlibiny mentioned at 2017 and continue to receive new khlibiny means they already have the system in the aircraft. I still believe that the Himalayas was upgraded with these mmics when it was mounted in 2014 because of more high priority than a SU-35.

    Is it now more than likely safe to assume the SU-35 has GaN mmics according to these finds? Anyways this is good info that was probably not mentioned in this forum before. But if there are people that want to believe the L-175 has similar mmics to the L-265 even though this system also has the same ability of masking other aircrafts as the Tarantula system which was not present before in their old EW systems, GaN MMICs introduced for new khibiny-M in 2014, was introduced to pass state trials in 2016 with new system, is present in their aircrafts according to 2017 sources(only time frame the new system was introduced), let me know? I remember this topic before made it look like I was poking a beehive with a stick on the SU-57 thread, but tell me if this presented information is better in confirming that the SU-57 is to highly likely have GaN MMICs like the SU-35?

    @XB-70 thank you.

    “with throughputs of less than 1Gbit/s also exist!” I will play it safe to stick with the more than 8 gigabit throughput because they stated that for their new computer. What pissed me off was that they stuck a computer that was based off the su-35 back in 2004 on the su-57 to begin with. I know that throughputs of less than 1 Gbit exist for fiber channels exist but their statement of (24 channels, 1 Gbit) makes anyone say that the 24 channels are all fiber optic channels and since most of their fiber optic channels seem to be listed with 1 Gbit each thats where I got the equation of the throughput. I will stick with the 8 gbit throughput since they have not clearly stated the throughput of this latest source so I will just leave this here for alot of computer geeks to look at since the Russians seem very confident of themselves to go brandish how their computers and navigation systems look along with the specs to provide as well.

    “Each computer of the IMA BKM contains the following modules:

    – 2 data processor modules based on a multi-core processor;
    – a graphics controller module based on a multi-core processor and a graphics coprocessor;
    – an input-output module based on a multi-core processor;
    – Fiber Channel switch module;
    – 2 power supply modules;
    – housing with a cross-board (KP).

    For the interaction of the BKVM IMA BK with external systems of on-board radio-electronic equipment (BREO) of the aircraft, the following interfaces are supported:

    – multichannel optical duplex Fiber Channel interface (24 channels, 1 Gbode);
    – output optical channels of graphic information Fiber Channel (2 channels, 1 Gbode);
    – Input optical channels of graphic information Fiber Channel (3 channels, 1 Gbode);
    – RCMI in accordance with GOST 18977 – 79 (ARINC – 429, 8 PRD / 16 PFM);
    – PK in accordance with GOST 18977 – 79 (16 RD / 24 RMP);
    – MKIO in accordance with GOST P 52070-2003 (MIL-STD 1553B, 4 channels with a reserve);
    – service bus based on the ARINC 825 interface.”

    Hopefully someone can dumb this all down for a fair evaluation of the aircraft’s computer systems.
