As to Congress, they will not block this one now for sure. What might happen is that once the deal is done, they are likely to hold up delvieries contingent on specific actions by Pakistan, such as access to A.Q.Khan, Pakistan’s warheads being secured etc.

I doubt that. Two important facts. The Khan part is not that important. The guy was just part of centrifuge project in Pakistan. Maybe he did deliver those technologies but we do have to remember that it happened during decades of boycots and Pakistan almost being ruined by that. And not only did Pakistan do it but there are other nations being blamed for it. It is strange that this person is the only one to be the victim. Other fact is that Pakistan is developing internally both economical and defence product related. It has developed Pakistani version for the same purpose. So if those missile stay in US then they can use the BS version. Same is happening with tanks and aircraft. Slowly more Pakistani products are operational and the only reason for them to get more is that it is sponsored and the fact that they can absorb technology. The Fc1 is probably not as good as f16 at the moment but since it is still under development… I think that is one of the reason the US will open F16 for PAF. If they do not deliver they PAF will get BVR and almost same without their help. Now atleast tey will still be able to control a part.

Still pretty strange that suddenly a lot of products are on the list. I am wondering what is correct about those flight reports of 18 F16c/d with amraam. Read somewhere in flight.

Without mixing into the difficult matters. India did alter radars. Is that normal for a country to do that? And how much can it be altered?

About that Fc1 grey nose. It could be one of those noses that was used to test the plane with different weights. Just to check how it behaves with heavier radar. But the strangparts is that there are no tail markings and it is strange that they removed those without changing rest of the colour.

Well, our home made Bakther Shikan wwas also used in this ops, the TOW 2A is specifically designed to defeat reactive armour, something we dont have on our western border, but do have to the east! :dev2:

    wrong info…

    TOW 2A BUNKER BUSTER
A “bunker buster” variant of the TOW 2A, to defeat field fortifications, bunkers and urban structures, has been developed and fielded by the US Army. The TOW 2A Bunker Buster has a range of 3,750m. It is scheduled to arm the US Army’s Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) variant of the Stryker combat vehicle family.

    >>>The Russian intelligence has a good impression about Chinese capabilities. There is still a reality gap between proud Chinese claims and real capabilities

Not that I favour Chinese but frankly I do see plenty improvements lately. Knowing your background your nation is re-starting again with same Awacs program. Compared to China there is a lot advertisement without a formal startup. China was flying around Awacs when pictures came out. Does that show over-estimating? I doubt that. It is not Chinese habbit to make advertisement when it comes to important programs. It is in some nation normal to have a lot of advertisement and maybe not finished products. Maybe politics maybe funding. It sounds harsh but that is my humble opinion.

I agree with Matt. The pics are getting better but the stories are getting shorter and shallow. About that missiles. I am just like Matt waiting for the next part. Where is it? Under the many UK or US articles?

I don’t think they did same as Garry Powers. Flying over US with a special spy plane.

    Here you go again.

The EP is discussed on various forums. The variables (range and size) are also discussed. So what is wrong with the post?

I do not see why the pro LCA sides keeps bashing the other. They degrade the other side and add nothing to this discussion. A forum has rules but who is following them?
