    SMINTAIR???

Excellent website. Looks like it was done by a schoolboy and looking at the “jobs” section, they must have no employees at the moment. Not surprising though when you read some of the website content. You would have to be seriously cuckoo to apply for a job with these fruitcakes.
I wonder if they have had an insurance quote yet. I can just imagine the conversation.
“Good morning, yes I would like a quote for third part fire and theft on six 747-400s. Pardon, no I don`t have any experience of running an airline, does that matter? Oh and all flights are going to allow smoking throughout. Click. Hello, hello is there anyone there? Must of got cut off. I`ll just finish my homework then give them a call again”.

Sounds to me like the lady at the check-in lounge upset you enough to put you into a negative frame of mind for the rest of the flight.

You are forgetting the check in lady, she came before the lounge. 😮

We are flying Qatar Airways to Cape Town in February so I will let you know how they compare to Virgin. Of the airlines I have flown long haul BC I rate, again, my opinion folks.

    1.Singapore
    2.Delta
    3.BA
    4.American
    5.Virgin.

Just out of interest, we have used Thomas Cook Airlines twice this year and paid an extra £30 for legroom. Crew were consistantly good on all flights, clean aircraft, on time and very acceptable meals for the price. Good for sub 4 hour flights as far as me and Mrs. C are concerned.

    Virgin Good?

Try flying the Manchester/Gatwick aircraft. If you had Vport you will have been on Heathrow equipment. There is a definate difference between the two services. Virgin actually agreed with my complaints as they gave me
20k free miles, but as I said in my post, it was only my opinion.
