DJ Havent a foggiest why it was in , but I have heard that a coastguard S61 routed over PIK heading North Bound , so could be a swap
EC-INQ, ex BAW- BSNW then to Futura International, EC-INQ so looks like a lease to Binter as it was opertaing a Futura Flight out of Glasgow

Cheers guys,
Im still drying out myself Rab , but i think it was well worth it ,if the sun had been out we wouldnt have got as many good shots due to heat Haze
Steve: Yes it is a optical illusion, they are standing on a large bank which is above the fence line , so really good spot for taking pictures,,it is close to the runway , but not as close as it seems in the picture
Kevin

G-ZAPU looks graet , espeically with those clouds in the background ,the second Virgin shot looks excellant as well

Cheers Newforest
Well PIK has been a gold mine lately, last week there were 4 KC135 and 3 C130 on the ground at the same time
Great captures Damian, crips and sharp the light wasnt to bad either for the c17 landing , me and Fred headed home after the AN225 was tucked up for the night , that white 747 in the background was a pain in the back side
You missed an N reged jetranger and the Galaxy( Grummy 200) in primmer
Kevin
Many thanks Guys ,
There was to be a c17 landing as well , but the last I heard was that is was due at 1900 , so 3 big birds on the ground at the same time
Jamie thats Zulu time should be going at 0900
Regards Kevin
Cheers Raymy
Never really thought about the BA Landing picture as a signature shot , but seeing as you have mentioned it, its, now my new avatar 🙂
Kevin
Cheers Guys,
Im might just do an Airbus selection later on (well EasyJet and BA ) 😮
Nice shots there Adam, tha last time I saw the Dreamliner was last year at PIk and it had just been fitted with The winglets ( still painted in the Old Ryanair colours) so it good to see thay have repainted the winglets
