Thanks for all the comments ,
Was hoping that it would rain , so that we could get some spray as it lifted off , but it started to poured down just as we got to the car (sods law) though we managed to get a Cargolux 747 taking off , might post that later
Kev
what a machine! bet that made your hat blow of as it went over head! not much runway left!
Nearly ended up on my back as it went over us 😮 , filled the lens with the undercarrige at 100mm, so plenty of detail on the tyres:eek:
Kevin
Great shot ,
Crisp, sharp and not over exposed,
what kit are you using ?
Kevin
many thanks to all for all the comments,
Hoefully it should appear into PIK more regularity, might even get it to nightstop along with the Supertanker
At the moment it ‘s only doing a fuel stops first on it’s way to Italy then on its way stateside stopping for about 2 hours each time
James , I got to admit I was to focused on the aircraft it self to notice the Runway ,I have know for quite a while that it dips half way along its lenthg, but did’ nt realise it did that much , who needs a rollercoster :p
Kevin
Another great selection there Scott,I have to admit i was a tad dissapointed with the trun out at Glasgow , suppose we were a bit spoiled from the last time, but PIK certainly made up for it
Kevin
As allways Fred great shots, Have you managed to dryout yet, 🙂
Kevin
Its going to take a lot more for me to believe that old NW chestnut.;)

Thanks for the comments,
Myself i think that the COA 757 with winglets really suite them, the AAL 757 look strange , so I look forward to seeing if the US757 suite them,
Ive heard a rumor that we might just see another 757 in the near future 😉 😉
Kevin
Cheers Guys
It was a very strange day due to the weather , couldnt make up its mind what it was going to do ,
Think I have managed to solve the mystery, what do you think ?
A Piper (TED SMITH) 600 Aerostar

Intreasting shots there Si
Good to see an old Classsic like the 1-11, still operating in the UK , seen it a few times going Leuchars, did’nt they have one with the Long pointed nose or was that DERA
Kevin
Cracking shots Scott
Makes it worth while riding about in the white van 🙂
Kevin
Hi Jamie , Thanks for that , you were very close,
An examination of a 737 at BAMG reveled that it is the actual APU intake , you will only see it when the apu is running ,apparently this is on 300 series and above , I always thought the apu intake was rather like a flap , opening on the Fuselage like the 757,
You Learn something new every day
Cheers Kevin
Can anyone ID this
On the Picture of the SAS 737-683 there is what i believe to be a sensor protruding from the rear of the aircraft , I have spoken to a 737 engineer, they cannot id what it is as they only work on 300-400 and 500 series
Can anyone provide a answer
Kevin
