Only a first attempt but here, mate :

    http://www.minijets.org/typo3/index.php?id=217&L=0&cHash=4c956426eb

or you can go to the E-sites of the respective airforces that used it
and look there as in Bangladesh :

    http://www.baf.mil.bd/index01.php
Just go to the museum page as the type was retired in 2000.

    Same for Cameroon :

    http://www.xairforces.net/galleryd.asp?id=7&galleryid=370

Now, of course you picked the tricky ones, lol.
I wonder about Uganda seriously; they don’t even have a website!
Maybe check with the Israëlis who sold them the planes for shots
before departure or search for pics/warplane/Uganda until you get lucky?
Good luck mate, the Fouga is an old-school aircraft.
I just like those things built to last. ; )
    Tay.

From Dalius’ link to Guisnel :

    Qu’en conclure ?

L’article du Washington Post considère, sans l’écrire explicitement, que les Européens feraient bien d’acheter davantage d’armements aux États-Unis s’ils veulent faire la guerre sérieusement. Rien de neuf…

    “What’s to understand?

The Washington Post’s article expounds that, without saying as much, the
Europeans should really buy more weapons from America if they want to
    be serious warriors. Nothing new…”

    Tay trans.

Thanks to BAE and Dassault, that old stance from the Post
is still alive and kicking, which still means that some in the
United States are pissed at the quality of our offerings:D:p

I mean how many such articles came out from that source
to throw shadows on the J-17, for instance? When will they
have the gall to tell the Chinese that their planes should be
    JDAM equiped?:diablo:

    Good day all, Tay.

Just a word on the subject of cannibalizing A/Cs.

Not only is this practice common in all major AirForces
but as we speak, France is also playing around with its
“marbles”. The Rafale Ms are still in too low numbers* to
properly supply the CDG and schooling back home at all times
meaning that flying hours for emerging pilots training will be
severely reduced until the presence over Lybia is ended.
*( At least until that lengthy overhaul of the M F1s is over…)
One could also point to the fact that AdlA, for its part, sent
planes from not only both Rafale Squadrons but from CEAM,
French Center for Aerial Military Experimentation!!!
It may have to do with real life trials as provided by mister
Gaddhafi’s plastron team ( Thanks for speeding up our integration
and development agenda, Muammar mate! ) but it can also
be a way of using available planes period as allowed by the
infamous Omnirole-monostandard nature of the beast.

So to summarize, this is a non-issue!
The Typhoon itself in that situation is not the culprit anyway you
look at it! There are others discussions to be had from this
report but that swapping stuff around amongst planes to ensure
availability is SOP and in essence a non-story AFAIC.

    Good day all, Tay.

    Fully agreeing, Loke!
And my first thought went to the Gripen too.

However, part of the intent is to speed things up,
which only helps a contender that can answer with
    “speedy deliveries”?
The good news remains that we may get a result!!!

-What? No grumbling about the up-coming

I would really like to see that in action..

I don’t know if you know, but the Growler for example carries three huge pods..

The Growler is an electronic warfare plane, fighter in shape
by design to go close to the objectives. It is supposed to be
able to jam radar, links and transmissions! If you prefer, it
can control the human-made electro-magnetic environment
    found on an aerial battlefield!

SPECTRA is the RAfale’s Protection and Targeting Controls Evading System,
Système de Protection et d’Évitement des Conduites de Tir pour le RAfale.
It is meant to allow the plane ITSELF relative immunity from
    danger.

Poor comparison in this case which explains the discrepancy in volumes.
A Ferrari is a better built car than a pick-up but to move stuff around…

Oh, and before you ask, the reason why the Rafale has that system
is because France knew when it ordered it that we would NOT build
an equivalent to the F-A 18G! So that each plane would have to fend
    off baddies by itself!

And it does SEAD-lite, ya know!?

    @redreidy mostly, 🙂

Let me try for a straightforward point of view too then,
since you outlined yourself as a decently fair fellow!

If you compare exercises, you need RoEs, objectives,
    limitations and the likes.
If you compare tenders, you need intent, circumstances,
    situation and the likes.

Let’s outline reasons with reviews :

The U.S.A. build big, good, technologically advanced planes…
but are reputed “difficult” about sharing and allowing.

The Russians build good, sturdy, relatively up-to-date biggish
    fighters mostly for friendly/non-aligned countries.

The British build the best possible plane for their needs which
obviously differ from Tornado to Typhie!

The French and the Swedes chose the all-in-one route or omnirole
concept of a do it all plane, with maybe a tad more ambitions on
French side such as nuclear deterrence and a bit more cash would
bring forth! Rather pricey especially the former, it seems!

This being said, it logically ensues that : US A/Cs vary from way
more expansive ( unavailable even, i.e. F-22 ) to incredibly cheap
    as in given! Ranging from reliable patchjobs to Sci-Fi marvels;
Russians planes are not first pick amongst Western Civilization’s
well to do; British(/ European) offerings tend to find opportunity
buyers on face value ( not a bad thing, really! ).

Now whenever one plane fits all becomes the flavor of the day,
anywhere France and Sweden shine likes lone stars.
Export restrictions about US components not-withstanding, each
could win according to need. I salute South Africa choosing Gripen
because it was the best choice for them! I similarly believe that the
Rafale has a nice edge towards MMRCA because of India’s needs!

Mig-35, F-16, F-18 and Typhoons have ONE thing in common that
outweighs comparatives with Gripen and Rafales first and foremost :
they are part of a high-low mix concept!
The Typhoon doesnt quite sh.t on the fields of war as well as the
Rafale? So what, it was not primarily designed for it either!
Within the IAF, the ridiculously muddy MMRCA probably stands for
a do-it-all midsized workhorse so that, geographical data considered,
the Raffy ahead of the Gripen somewhat, especially considering the
differences in the timelines between programs.

And of course, if my take on the deal is off, heck…
    ..something else entirely.:o:p

Anyhow we should be fixed soon, 2025, 2030, give ‘n take a little! 😀

P.S. @ Loke, Z-) All of the above? Plus SPECTRA?
    Nah, just kidding, mate!:diablo:

Just a small question to the range/add. fuel tanks people!

Has anyone considered the law of diminishing returns?

If you start a marathon with a two kilos backpack,
you’ll make it in time and having to eat right now.

If you start a marathon with a two hundred kilos backpack,
you’ll have enough for a feast upon arriving but….
that will be much, much later!

I don’t even need to calculate how much fuel the Rafale needs
to carry in order to go strike Beijing from Paris…
I know it’s more than it can lift off with:D.

That’s why we have tankers, ya know!
    And carriers…
    And good day all, Tay.
