    Entirely agreed, Swerve!

There is a lively mili high tech industry in Europe,
    let’s count our blessings!

Those radars will vie for supremacy in the following
years/decades, which is fine… and will mostly face
antiquated fighters struggling to fire a Fox-2 properly!

    No one should be worried,;).

    Good night all, Tay.

    Understood, Boom!
I was only answering and yet, selling top end weapons is a privy
of the ex-colonial powers, more or less.

I’d say to the exception of Israël but that in itself will spark
    a new bonfire!

    Good night all, Tay.

Its getting very hard to continue to be proud of being a Brit!

Well, mate, it seems to be a common woe in this
beginning of century for modern states!

I was shocked too and belatedly posted the news in the MiliAviaNews
    thread a few minutes ago.

What can I say? If you expect an increase in military spending, your
best chance might be to be a national of a third world country, one
with “creative ways” to use national wealth and U.N. subsidies!

    Good day all, Tay.

I hope that I am not double posting but
    http://www.aviationnews.eu/2011/02/14/up-to-100-pilots-to-be-sacked-as-part-of-a-480m-cost-cutting-exercise/

That is sickening news to me!

    Has it been confirmed?

    Good day all, Tay.

    @bager

    Thanx mate! 🙂

And to think that Bath Iron Works is still
producing LCS …or maybe not even.

    Good day all, Tay.:D

    100% behind swerve here!

If the Brazilians are waiting for the MMRCA
to be over to choose ( And vice versa for India? )
they’ll both have to up the ante ’cause by then …

    ^^^^^^^

Wow! Did I gather the meaning that they kept a PESA radant
    under the new active antenna?
    😮

    Just a pun, Oblig..;)

of this good forum. It’s filled with nice, nice pics of those

    Thank you all!
Leaving the skirmishes of so many other threads and joining
you for a long satisfying look at those amazing flying machines
the men who make ’em, the men who pilot ’em, wow, refreshing!

Here’s to all avia fans, CHEERS! Tay.

    As requested by PM :

“Even if the F3 planes we have at hand are technically able,
with SPECTRA to detect and identify ground-to-air threats and
then to scan the zone in high-resolution with the RBE2 to see
the target and drop on it from a safe distance an AASM guided
bomb, in short to do SEAD, the concept has not been validated
    for use in this unit.”

    Lt-Col Grandclaudon, EC1/7 *

As interviewed by the same Jean-Louis Promé that spoke to
Gen. Silvy earlier in DSI 2010 May ed., nb. 59, p.103

The last part of an article explaining that the Rafale’s “omnirole”
aspect is getting to be more than the pilots can handle.
That it is difficult to create a pilot that could simultaneously
activate all functions of a plane designed to do it all at once.

    * Also known as Squadron 7/1 since Al-Dhafra, 😮 GDL.

    Lindermyer, please don’t cry, it’s just a joke!
PPP & I are old buddies of sorts!

Besides, have you checked the referred-to post #238?
    Have you seen his link?
If you pick one up but not the other, mwell, Perfide Albion?

Quite funny, PPP; hilarious even! That post #238 of yours!

Too bad that you still have to disguise the act of birth
of your country under the Norman monicker so as to avoid
remembering that Guillaume was a French Duke!

That’s alright however and I will not press the issue on
    account of our E-friendship.
I’d rather let a British gentleman tell you :

Better skip the intro though ’cause his words are a tad harsh!:dev2:
