    Good night all, Tay.

    Oh, yes, yes, yes!

    @Scorpion
    Check this out mate!

‘Cause I’d swear that they say it does acquire AtoA and AtoG at once,
just as you were wondering if it did!

As in : “can therefore effectively carry out several tasks simultaneously,
    with “very low losses…….””

I have many examples of it being stated but they come from French publications and we all know how unreliable those are………..:diablo:

    Good day all, Tay.

Here Scorpio, find your answers to :

More interleaving just means more interleaving Up to date the RBE2 can interleave mapping and AA tracking, but can it overlay GMTI/T/SEA contacts on a SAR map? Can it simultaneously acquire AA and AG targets? From what is know there is still a lot of room for more interleaving!

    Good day all, Tay.

Yeah, well, I know but we’ll have to wait for a pic of PAK-FA
serial unit with its nose open to know about the new one!

Unless you have that somewhere, TR1?

    Tay.

Here, as long as we want to count elements and having
posted that pic, catch this :

    http://www.ausairpower.net/Zhuk-AE-Aperture-1S.jpg

Anyone can count the number of elements on that baby!

For the laymen : opened nose of a MiG-35 with his Jouk hanging out!

I bet they and the French know what they’re doing. Increasing capabilities to fuse data from several jets might be a reason why radome size isn’t that important anymore.

I think that eagle meant that with L16 or something similar,
two planes or more can exchange/combine tracks, Loke.
As in each radar used as an element of a bigger one.

Of course, successfully merging thirty plus tracks is an AWACS prerogative
on account of the needed computing power AND of course, individual
range of each radar is not augmented.

But proper use of AESAs and datalinks could provide a lot
without the detection being hiked up as much as with one
    huge beam of emission.

Now, BlueApple once again stated correctly that element size
and inter-element spacing are fixed but we should still think
of the difference in capacity between different designs of these
and the work on sculpting proper wavebeams. Switching between
AtoA and AtoG is a matter of algorythms and programming mostly
at which not all makers are equally apt!

    Good day all, Tay.

P.S. At first count, 868 modules, which quite frankly, “aint” much!:(

    Yes, very right!
The Tejas is a “domestic” Gripen.
Which does not help its chances ^.

Plus, Tejas, Gripen NG and PAK-FlagadA,
    that’s a lot of “paper planes”! 😉

    EF/F-18/Rafale in all likelyhood!

    Good day all, Tay.

Flash info from same source as originally,
( which means it should be respected )
there was a combination : -fuel gauge malfunction
    then
-improper use of fuel release safety
so dry, down and wet in that order.

    Good day all, Tay.

    @ Bager,

I’m sorry, mate that I cannot always spare the time from analog life
to translate pieces but it will sadly happen again for sure!

I had other infos not yet sourced out when I first wrote.
I gave you those as uncertain but reliable.
    They were so far.
Maybe a little trust could have spared us blah-blah exchange.
But I understand the PoV of those comments.

    Tay.

Yes, Bager1968 but as is the case, the link I provided says :

Selon nos informations, l’accident du Rafale Marine, dimanche dans l’océan indien, est la conséquence d’un problème de jauge de carburant. Panne d’un système ou mauvaise compréhension d’informations ? L’enquête en cours devra le déterminer et il est trop tôt pour le dire. D’autant qu’il se peut que les deux hypothèses soient en partie complémentaires.

“According to our informations, the accident of the Rafale M, sunday in the
Indian ocean, was the consequence of a fuel gauge problem. System failure
or bad information comprehension ? The ongoing inquiry will have to say and
it is too early to tell. Especially since it is possible that both hypothesis could
    be complementary here.”

See what i meant and still mean?

You guys are somewhat of a pain, lol.
    Good night all nonetheless, Tay.
