Great photo. Any articles on the Apcahe shooting down the Cessna.
Thanks!
There was 1-2 years ago, I will have to check it out precisely when it was.
The lead pilots and the wingmen in bombing order:
Ze’ev Raz
Amos Yadlin
Doobi Yaffe
Hagai Katz
Amir Nachumi
Yiftach Spector (he was the only one to miss)
Relik Shafir
Ilan Ramon (Died on the shuttle Colombia on februari 1st 2003)
By the way, I have a satellite map of Israel next to my PC. 🙂
From an online source or did you purchase it, just curious because I’m always interested to update my files.
What is of special interest for me. Why did the radar at Sderot not work as promised to give warning time against ‘Kassams’?
Sorry, but I have no time to respond to the rest of your post (almost a holiday) but there is some confusion wether the system is active already. AFAIK the system is put in place but there are differences of opinion whether to sound an alarm which will create a panic, or not.
You know Barak, reading Erezs posts and speaking to Israelis I know makes me sympathis with there position at times, then at other times people like you write the above and then I think to myself, my Isreal deserves everything it gets……..
🙁
I guess you mean the idea of letting it fly over Gaza??? If that’s the case lighten up, it was just a joke, you did saw ” 🙂 ” didn’t you?
This wasn’t the first bomb threat that was received in the last weeks. Twice an Olympics flight was threatend and was also diverted, but hey since it is Israel this time, it is either decided that there is no threat, or that it was wrong to divert it.
We could have let if fly over Gaza 🙂 and parallel to the Egyptian border and then a left turn towards Uvda.
Today you can not enter a cockpit with ease any more.
It is pretty easy to enter a cockpit, even nowadays. Not on every flight cockpit doors are locked and twice when I was on a flight they even opened the cockpitdoor for a couple of minutes to talk a bit with the other flight crew.
That’s of course very risky due to the fact that once it enters Israel an hijacked plane could try to crash in a populated area rather than over the sea.
Erez, why do you think that’s risky? If the plane would be directed towards Uvda or another airbase based south, it still wouldn’t be allowed to fly near the big cities.
On different cases I know that some planes were escorted to Uvda AFB in the negev desert.
That was the plan if the plane ran wouldn’t have enough fuel left or wasn’t allowed into Cyprus.
are you trying to fake being a gentleman or to act as if you were funny??? an Israeli gangster is no good for any of these two tasks.
Wow you don’t even know me, yet you know, just because I’m an Israeli that I’m a gangster. And yes, if I said something that’s not true I have no problem to apologise, not even to you.
THANK YOU for proving me right, now everybody can see how easy for an Israeli it is to LIE, ACIG.org is there for people to check and see that I held the Russian government responsible for the OUTCOME of the hostage taking operation which I made very clear was COMPLETELY WRONG DOING in my opinion, but what would you care???? you would simply lie to make your point valued, just like you falks have been lieing for too many decades to count now.
Trust me, I know where ACIG is for. You put the blame solely on the Russians for the massacre in Beslan. Now how can that be a lie, if that’s what you said yourself?? Ah I know, because it comes from an Israeli right?
BTW, tell your fellow gangster who posted the drawing about Israeli and Palestenian soldiers and children that he’s a damn lier too, or at least ask him to explain how a few days ago a Palestenian young girl was shot dead inside her school class by Israeli sol.. Gangsters where there was no fighting at all … of course this was a pre-emptive strike to avoid her giving birth to terrorists right???
Again you call him a gangster without even knowing him, remarkable! Is it or is it not true that Palestinian terrorist, or hero freedom fighter according to you, hide behind civilians? That’s what the cartoon represents.
Barak, my apologies, I sometime think faster than I type! Cheers.
No need to apologise, happens to the best of us 🙂
did I ever say that?????????????? but that doesn’t matter to an Israeli’s mind any way, in your mind you know that you can simply tell a lie and then claim someone else said it, too easy for you.
BTW congartulations on the successfull act of terrorism by your Mossad in Damascus today.
No you haven’t said that I know, should I apoligize?
Thank you although I wouldn’t call it terrorism though. Kfadrat when are you finally going to admit that your Palestinian ‘brothers’ are guilty of terrorism. Hell you even wouldn’t admit Beslan was a terrorist act of the Chechens on ACIG (of topic I know) And stop yelling at everything the IDF or Israel does and call it terrorism?
Barak,
I meant for this particular contract. With the future elections, Israel will have to wait until things calm down a little and a new administration comes to power, depending on the outcome.
That’s true, but if I’m not mistaken you were linking the Iranian facilities and this latest arms deal.
I just wanted to point out that there is no need for Israel to postpone any attack until this shipment arroves as Israel already has bunker busters. It could be for a future replacement of spend bombs ofcourse 😉
You won’t believe how much I’m laughing when you say that over and over and over and over again! 😀 😀
Because we all know th SYAAF rules the sky 😀
However, this contract agreement will have to wait until after the November elections to get approved by either a new government or the Bush administration depending on who will come on out on top on November 4th.
That’s not reallt true. Israel already had ‘bunker busters’ so if Israel decides to strike it is not dependent on this latest arms deal.
