Must have been expecting a tight slot.
And I STILL don’t know where it is…:diablo:
I understand BA weren’t sure which 767s were involved, until they turned out all the hangar lights…
bmi use the E145 on the likes of ABZ & LBA to LHR, especially at weekends in the summer, when their Airbuses are gainfully employed elsewhere on IT flights.
What must employees or ex-employees of the likes of Brymon & Cityflyer Exp think of the recent announcement?
2 good independent airlines who made the mistake of becoming BA franchisees, then shafted by BA.
They could still have been operating today but for BA’s meddling.
Well done BA…………………..NOT. 😡
Please someone tell me that he has flown on AEU flight no. 666! :diablo: 😉
Flytecomm must have the code as UAE instead of AEU, don’t know why, a fault at Flytecomm’s end perhaps?
Astraeus had a 757 into ABZ recently, & Flytecomm also showed it as United Air Express!
Is Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) still flying for them?
First snows hit rural Aberdeenshire (around the town of Insch) last week.
Only a skimming, but caused one fatality on the main Aberdeen-Inverness road, a notorious stretch when it snows.

Aberdeen + Houston = OIL.
That is what would drive the demand.
Lots of people fly ABZ-AMS to fly onward to IAH.
IF COA launched a direct ABZ-IAH service then KLM would lose out, so perhaps understandable that they would want to hang onto their pax.
But yeah, long way to go, if it ever comes to pass.
Temperature in hell +500568.945 celcius last time I looked. :dev2:
Looking at the story as I type. NNNNNNope, deffo says K L M ! :p
If it was NWA, then the US-UK restrictions wouldn’t apply, as it would be a US airline. Fact that KLM are saying that it depends on the restrictions on who can operate UK-US would mean to me that it is KLM that would look to fly the route.
Mind you I am aware that NWA have several 757s they could send across the pond, but IAH isn’t a NWA hub?
Meanwhile, talks between ABZ, IAH Boosh & an “unnamed” airline that every man & his dog knows is Continental continue.
Why on earth was there no “son of Conc” being developed?
Were there any plans as the old bird got older and longer in the tooth?
Umm no, it’s bmi REGIONAL that is profitable, flying business routes. Recently announced increased Scotland-MAN flights for W06/07.
D-Esperia-te 😀
By the by flyBE were putting the E195 on the route, not the DH8D. Unless they’ve changed their mind.
