Dunno about F-ARNE, but I understand F-ARTE caused quite a ripple….
Where was I? Ahh yes, Highland A/W at INV have a few. 😀
Is there some sort of train of thought that once a/c built for pax are converted to freighters, they are somehow “downgraded” in the minds of people? “Oh, they’re just freighters now…” – DC-8 is still going in such a configeration……
Sh#t! PLEASE BAA, sell Aberdeen…PLEASE!!! 😀 You’re as much use as a choccie teapot!!
Bristow ferried an EC225 (UK-marked G-ZZSO) ABZ-Malta to link up with the Belfast, eventually destination Australia.
What is Signature’s thinking for hiking up the prices by so much that local GA & probably much of the light visiting stuff is forced away from ABZ?
Are they expecting a boom in more lucrative bizjets, both oil & Trump/golf-related??
That’s where they are obviously looking for their trade in the future, it seems.
True GA…3.5 then! 😀
This venture was full of hot air from the start…
Bring ’em on….:D
1-11 Lover, a Trident’s got THREE engines!! You gone off 1-11s? 😉
Minidoh,
Sorry your “bags” balony puts me in mind of the Monty Python Dead Parrot sketch.
“These bags are not lost, they are merely “not where they should be”…
Of course some would say BA resembles a dead parrot these days anyway…:D
Oh, what about price fixing, in the news today…WHAT? The World’s Favourite Airline? Shurely shome mishtake…
Lord Marshall, Lord King… Those people whose bags have disappeared at the hands of “The World’s Favourite Airline” (sic) think highly of BA, do they???
Fantastic airline my ****.
Is there a BAC1-11aholics anonymous? If there isn’t, there should be!
In which case the word “British” should disappear soon, shouldn’t it? 😀
Never mind Open Skies, I believe these cutbacks are part of their Project S E A L
(South East And London airways )
Alas likes all seals, there’s too much blubber & they are sinking fast
Problem for ABZ is in percentage terms, it has come off worst, just as it does when there are delays & cancellations due weather etc.
We have already lost our LGW link when BA pulled off at the start of this year’s summer schedules , now it reduces LHR by 6.5% I think the figure was.
So perhaps it is time for BA to leave ABZ…or ABZ to say tata to BA.
Seems BA doesn’t think life exists in the north of Scotland…just in London & the sarf-east.
