I just read that DRDO is going to ask Elbit for Avionics. Seriously easy going! Byt MCA design is very conmfusing. Delta without vertical tail? Can anyone explain why it is medium?

I don’t think Israel will sell their high end avionics to others. The Israeli upgraded mig21 are otherwise better then those UPG from IAF.

Totally correct. That is the reason why Dutch orions based at Valkenburg are receiving newer grey painted parts… They were just painted in dark blue but are going to be sold to Germany.

PAF did upgrade their mirages for BVR and there is no BVR in service sofar. And yes, Victor… The PG is waiting. Besides the Chinese SD10 there is unclear infor about H2 and H4 but that needs to be proven even more…

Weapon trials are allways at the end of the prototype cyclus. Pakistan will get something like 10 prototypes for testing inside Pakistan. That means that there will be probably a prototype for weapons trials paralel to other tests. Three years is a bit long. But on the other hand there is no final avionics set selected by PAF so inegrating the SD10 without radar is definately not easy. 😀

That sounds very logical. But still cannot understand why the mainwing is almost like PG. If they have a finished tested PG wing with slats then why make one without it? I don’t see the maturing part except when it is to decrease production costs but then the total costs will not lower cause it does not share components with the PG…

I know it is funny. We all know that Python 4 was sold to China. And some fellows are making the connection of LAVI or even PAF F16’s in China. Well, we might say that Ef2000 is just a double engine Lavi.. Even if plans are sold it is a big effort to turn it into a plane. We all know that Kfir(/neher) and Mirage5 have same start designs but evolved in different models. So china did a great job sofar…:D

Just like the double seat MKI’s? (all mki’s re doubles) I don’t think that at this moment that a double seater is misused as triner. They have many cheaper advanced trainers and there is soem advantage ni placnig two persons in a cockpit… (workload during a2g).

If it is zoomed then the background will look very big (zoomeffects…). That is not the question. It is either made by a chinese quality lens or just fake…

Doesn’t look real to me. To hood just looks to big and the frame in the middle is vertical.

It is just trade… The Israeli firms try to sell everything. They just get money for it. It is either that Indian firms are not ready for selling without Israeli help or they do not beleive in their products (just like the Idnian forces).

btw If that piece of plane is going to be converted into cruise missile then every Al Qaida terrorist will be able to produce that. It is just a targetting plane.
