some pics defencetalk.
I don’t think India has bought expensive and capable planes just to fly circles. Same story about Israel. But I think the majour difference will be the culture.
Ok, cause this guy is important I just provide you his route… Looking forward to see him in Holland.
Musharraf leaves for New York
(Updated at 1110 PST)
ISLAMABAD: President General Pervez Musharraf left for New York on Sunday to attend the meeting of UN General Assembly.
He would be meeting in US with several world leaders besides the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh with whom he would be discussing all issues under dispute including Kashmir.
UN General Assembly would be deliberating on 158-point agenda including reorganization of the institution besides the agenda of reforms in UN Security Council in a meeting to be attended by the representatives of 191 countries.
President Pervez Musahrraf, during his stay in United States, would be meeting US President George Bush, Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and other world leaders, while returning from US, he would also be visiting Holland and Italy.
Well. Arthur. If you are often in this region then you will notice that when there is a meeting (NATO/EC/world leaders/Royal house etc etc) we get stop signs (for 30 minutes sometimes) and everything is rushed around. Last time a press chopper was forced to land when it accendently flew near a ministers meeting. Closing the nearest base to The Hague is not smart cause either they have to use the A44 or something from Rotterdam. Both are much longer routes and more difficult to defend then the 10 minutes drive from Valkenburg. I regret the closure cause not only will it increase vulnerability but we civilians have to cope with the results. About Zestienhoven. No idea about the red carpet. But I don’t think they can defend it as good as Schiphol.
So no we have nothing left on Valkenburg? They turned enough airstrips into cheap quality but expensive price houses. Even using this airstrip for the foreign political guest is becoming impossible. So, Leiden gets the extra building space it wants…
See them daily fly over The Hague. But strange. I thought they would be sold to Germany.
Probably they had full US support in the past for spares and manpower. Why not move to the next provider of manpower. The Pakistani love to give some manpower but they will try to sell some products and earn more cash…
So the J10 and Grippen are not related to eachother. They are testing the J10 and will add some sqadrons (2?). But the strange thing is that I read in Pakdef that USA stopped Grippen deal. What is there to negotiate if big brother USA is not willing? For the rest. Fc1 is going according plan. 16 test examples withing 2 years and then 150 (and 150 for China). It will replace F7 and Mirages.
Venezuela isn’t the first nation that bought some jets and saw them grounded thanks to polical temperament. Now some may understand that getting more US weapons isn’t the smartest choice. But thank God Venezuela has a lot of oil. Hope that will lead to Su30MKV… 😀
Well. Pilots allways tell that their planes is the best. So those Flanker boys are probably doing the expected. Does that make your statement wise? Maybe even better question… Based on what? Ant source?
And you rather sit in F15? Here in Netherlands they have gained a lot of experience with Soesterberg (CR) F15’s and Leuwarden F16’s. The F15 had advantage when they had BVR. But in close range it wasn’t very easy for them. Maybe I am not pro but I don’t have to be. Atleast I do not shout without any data.
Training in the US of A does not make IAF super. O I forgot. That seems to be raising confidence… Cool for you. Joining with a few jags. And those ground attack F15’s in India where just to get more funds for F22. Don’t tell me they lost with ease.
Before you all throw hot air. IAF isn’t top league.
ISrael is delivering the MKI avionics. They are aware of the capabilities of the IAF. About IAF goign to train in ISrael… Where? ISrael is going abroad to Turkey to get some space. Whether IAF is going to learn a lot by fighting against IDEAF F16’s… Getting close to F16’s isn’t very smart for the bigger plane. Using BVR… Well. That sounds more like math then real combat.
I said the same Crobato. Anyway. About speculations. Here a pic with the new Pakistani PM visiting IDEAS2004. Anyone can help me out with the missile? Thanks to pakdef.
The Fc1 will be defending small area. Not dragging heavy weapons to well defended area. With PAF intrested in air refuleing (see ideas2004 chinese air refueling sets). Add to that that fc1 will have inflight refueling probe. And it will be guided by ground radar/Awacs then you do not need the huge range.
I walked to the store 5 times.. Nothing here in Holland.
Unfortunately you are right. I did. Let me change it. Excuses.
