Since he J10 and Fc1 can share a lot I doubt that the Fc1 will have joy with only analog… But I have no evidence.

lenghth of the arm is important… But without calculation… standard should be around 10… That is for Airforce pilots who want to fly F16… An attraction should be just enough scary with 2.5 G… Maybe 3. But you need breath training and more help if you wanna reach 4.5-5 G…

Dutch F16 were based in some Russian republic (…stan) and flow over the mountains with A2G ordnance to help the US marines on the ground… I dop not remember another occasion where dutch F16 had some GBU and mountains on the background…

Superb. It reminds me building a plastic model… They can make it as long as possible. I am allways iontrested in building this plane…

hypothetical the airforces are just for border patrol. The real defences are the nukes. So I doubt that both nations would start a major offensive without expecting real anger coming back. But we should skip that. I agree that PAF going into deep is something extremely unlikely. Getting there is one but getting back is another one… India is not a small country and without refuelers available above India it is suicide mission. But For India it is not that easy either. A lot of bases are 24/7 manned. And PAF is indeed ready for defence. Just look at the number of F7’s. And all planes do have some kind of airdefence role… Even the A5 os K8 have some sindewinders… and with BVR entering on PAF side it shows that the scenery is getting complicated. Not long ago an F70 fired AIM9 to down an Israele UAV launched by the Indian side… So they do know what happens there…

Arthur, there are some major airbases near the Pakistani border… Just look how far Dilli (hoofdstad) is…

Arthur: Sorry.. was inderdaad een volledige copy paste van PDF… Was vergeten het te editten. Veel succes met je modship want dat zit er wel duidelijk in.

Rest: It was not my text but directly copied from the PDF forum. I am the last one to say the have it but looking at the data coming out Janes this might be also an option in the future… China is busy with AWACS, kunlun and also TVC so why not that if they added NVG, IFR or IRS… That was the idea of my posting…

Wolverine… Chill man… That shouldn’t very difficult cause it is WEEKEND!!!!! Cheers. For the rest… I am just telling that th epaper plane is getting more reasonable options and I do not say that is a F22, JSF or Rafale… And about that arrestor hook… ok… But for the rest… Just give me a airsuperiority jet for that price with those options… And about chilling.. I do not have an IFR aircraft for the Fc1… But then again I am chilled and not personal… (huge smile)

    And what about TVC????

    Russians reveal multi-axis TV nozzles

RUSSIAN FIGHTER engine manufacturers Lyulka and
Klimov have separately unveiled two-axis thrust
vectoring nozzle designs for their respective combat
    aircraft engine projects.

The nozzles for the Klimov RD-33 and Lyulka
AL-31 turbo- fans were revealed at the 5th Moscow
Aeroengine Show in june. The Lyulka nozzle, designated
the AL- 100, provides up to 15 deg deflection in the
vertical plane and 8 deg in the horizontal plane. It is
intended for “a single-engine fighter”, thought to be
the Sukhoi S-54. The provision of thrust vectoring adds
60kg to the weight of the baseline AL-31 engine. Klimov
is also working on a two- axis thrust-vectoring
derivative of its RD-33 turbofan, the RD-133. This
engine has logged about 50 hours of tests on the ground
stand, but it is uncertain when, or whether, flight
    testing will get under way.

According to one Klimov source, MAPO is not
providing adequate financing for the programme. The RD-
133 has a maximum deflection of 15 deg in both the
horizontal and vertical planes. Other modifications of
the RD-33 family on which the company is working
include the RD-33N. This has the accessory gearbox
mounted lower to allow it to be accommodated in the
Chinese Chengdu FC- 1 fighter, now in development.

A further modification, the VKS-10, is thought to
be for the Chengdu FC-1. Klimov has already delivered
four RD-33Ns to China and expects a contract for a
production batch to be signed later this year. Lyulka
Saturn also unveiled the AL-55 at the show. This is a
small turbofan with a thrust vectoring nozzle intended
to power next- generation advanced trainers and light
fighter aircraft. The AL-55 will be available in
    afterburning and non-afterburning confignrations, rated
respectively at 20kN (4,400lb) and 29kN of thrust.

The dry version is intended for installation in
the MAPO MiG-AT advanced trainer powered by the
Snecma-Turbomeca Larzac. The Russian air force demands
that its future trainer is powered by a
Russian-produced engine. Negotiations on Larzac licence
production are deadlocked, according to Moscow sources,

so Lyulka hopes that it is offering a winning solution,
coupled with 30% thrust increase. Lyulka chief designer
Mihail Goikhenberg says that a pair of afterburning
    AL-55Fs could also power a next-generation
    lightweight multirole fighter.

Sukhoi has also demonstrated a “quasi-two-axis”
thrust vectoring capability on its Lyulka AL-31-
powered Su-30MKI intended for the Indian air force. A
senior Indian air force delegation visited Moscow this
month to discuss progress on the programme.

The Su-30MKI nozzles have only single-axis
movement, although they have been realigned to operate
at a 32 deg outward incline from the vertical plane.
This realignment provides a considerable lateral force
when the nozzles are moved differentially.

Just count the number of those other planes. The mig21 is still the major plane in IAF. And I don’t think that the Flankers will defend every place of the extremely long border of the IAF and PAF…

Sofar…. The Fc1 got the options we have discussed over and over again. Neat TWR, IFR, NVG, neat radar, BVR, arrestor hook, Laser pod, neat cockpit, etc etc etc…

Some posters from the very friendly country near Pakistan are opposing as much aspossible but to me it is just a matter of time before the evidence is there. About the cannon, it is there under the left intake. Not in a pod.

I don’t post this to flame but look at the logic. If we discuss the J10 and Fc1 then the Fc1 is low tech and J10 is medium tech… That is what posters like Wolverine or SabreAce tell us. Then we talk about getting it in the PLAAF and suddenly they are the same so why would PLAAF buy it… I miss the part aviantion lover in it. It is purely opposing anything relaetd to the plane. This is one of the things a new moderator should focus on. Hidden flames. Ruining topics and honestly… If they don’t like it… Why do they join it? We don’t do that in their topics…

So the cockpit layout and avionics are finalized. The radar is going to be integrated in next version together with the weapons.

No one bets on one horse… Different price… Different league… Different factories… I think you are wrong on that.

The mirages are not that bad but the Bison is a dangerous point defence fighter with BVR. And with combination of ground coverage… But at the same time those mirages will fly low hard and with BVR… And some cover… Pretty difficult cause we can add some very dangerous Indian airdefences… Missiles…

    But I agree with your F7… Jaguar… Same same…
