    no more deux ponts at papeete or around. all broken. last interesting planes were the Short (F OBIP) now at paris le bourget (MAE) to be repared, the two or three catalinas now existing in chili (chile?), the lancaster at paris (ailes anciennes).

    concerning the “look” of the breguet deux ponts, I do think it is so ugly compare to a beverley etc.

    we have done in france very nice planes, but I must agree the spit is the nicest in europe.

    the junker 52 is in probably in reallity an AAC1 toucan, the version of the JU52 manufactured after the 2d world war in france. to be true a good number of AAC1 were manufactured from JU52 components.

    being closed from lognes airport and an ex lognes pilot, there is no parts from a Miles falcon in a hangar or outside. today the interesting planes on the airfield are AN 2, yak 52, 50 etc, a beech 18 and a NA T6.
    you must also learned that this airport has been relocated around 1975/80 and all old hangars, runways, may some aircarfts have been destroyed at that time. I remmeber also on this field there was a company which has sold a good number of old aircraft to foreign customers, including morane, stampe, dragon etc. so may be with some luck some aircraft have escaped to be destroy, but I have never heard of miles falcon left in france;

    a lot of noise from nothing again. today the B17 is based at Melun villaroche (77) and is in maintenance from what I have learned . one day may be it will be based at la ferté, not in 2007/08. will probably fly again in 2008, i hope.
    all the problem about the situation of the B17 is due to the lack of info not given directly by the B17team forteresse volante.

    hello,
    the majority of the T6 on the pictures have been rebuild, sold or used for spares. they were ex french air force T6 sold around 1965 to 1970 to privates hands.
