105 km for what size target? 5m2, 3m2, 1m2? Zhuk-ME brochure is clear. It states 120km for 5m2 target (Look-up, head-on), plus plenty for other details.
I have found plenty of official brochures for Russian RADARs. Russian companies generally provide fair bit info. But I have not seen such releases from other countries especially American RADAR specifications.
Strictly speaking, there are no official images. There have been some, releases from NPO Saturn, and a few lets say semi-official or semi-valid sort of release, leaks etc.
But we’ll have to wait until after the 1st flight.
T-50 is said to be much more like the regular Su-27 than the Su-47. So the RCS reduction, especially the hiding the engine face will require some other methods. The serpentine ‘S’ is not there with that design (Unless they go with the YF-23 like design).
Su-47 said to have dropped to 0.3m^2. Su-35S : 1-3m^2. MiG-1.42 ~8m^2.
Off-course,….that 0.5m^2 certainly could be the journalists messing things up. Like I said, time will tell.

Sukhoi’s FGFA prototype, which is expected to make its first flight within weeks, is a true stealth aircraft, almost invisible to enemy radar. RCS ~0.5m^2? That could be anything. Frontal? Lateral? Some Overall value? Deliberate, mis-information? Plus, if they found a way to implement plasma stealth, then that should level things out. Time will tell… Well just have to wait…

Why have they covered the intakes of Su-35 , any thing interesting about those intakes ?
Maybe the Russians don’t want people to see what exact modification have been done to the Intake/Engine-face to reduce the Su-35 RCS compared to older versions.
The modified weapons bay of the Berkut seems big enough to carry at least one R-72/KS-172. Anyone knows whether its the R-72 or R-37 that’ll be the ultra long ranged AAM for the PAK-FA?
If that is an official/semi-official leak…..then….it is pretty much inline with the other leaks. There certainly is consistency in all these leaks. We still have wait for the official unveiling to know whether it is the right consistency.
