No pics of the AESA radar itself. Probably won’t see anytime soon either.

2 episodes documentary on T-50. Contains alot of never seen footage of T-50 ( i.e. under construction), and unseen (at least not by me ) footage of MFI, only few seconds but still.

IIRC Russia granted a $300 million line of credit for 17 Mi-17 helis. I think the deal also includes some other stuff such as UAVs, RADAR, MANPADs, etc, but can’t be sure. Our J-7G (F-7GS) were either on loan or literally gifted by the PRC. The PL-5E were free IIRC. If the 6 JF-17 deal is done, then it would be at least $90 million (15 mil fly-away cost assumed). I doubt this would be an outright purchase.

Again, it was the Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa himself who said that large amount of defense loans are yet to be paid. One of the main reasons for retaining a large defense budget was this. This was in response to questions regarding the post-war defense budget. Remember it actually increased post-war.

No talk of JF-17 acquisition in the local press & chit-chats. According to the Defense Secretary, the unusually large defense budget is needed to maintain the personnel of the tri forces. Active army alone accounts for almost 200,000, plus welfare for soldiers, disabled solders, fallen soldiers & their families, etc and massive loan payments for past acquisition. Large amount of weapons were bought on loan. So, when it comes to new acquisitions, I seriously doubt much room is their for JF-17. Looking at the military parades, I have seen little or no change since 2009 in-terms of equipment.

If we talk about pure aerodynamic performance we can already conclude something.
There is almost no doubt that PAK FA will have superior supermaneuverability or POST STALL maneuverability compared to F-22.

Not claiming the J-10 pic is authentic, but those are supposed to be PL-12 and not PL-11.

You actually cant fit PL-12 on to those intake pylons. But here are J-10A with dual racks (4 x PL-12, 2 x SRAAM/Camera-Pod, 3 x drop tanks) during a large scale DCAT. Plus, Z-19 with 8 x HJ-10 and 8 x TY-90

It looks like the stealthized RD-33 ;). Oops, sorry, WS-13:)

Believed to be an Afterburner-less RD-93.
