J-11B use WS-10A extensively laterly, and SF’s J-16 also equips them as well.
You referring to the the J-11B, J-15 & J-16. All are twin engined fighters. Only J-10B prototype 1035 has been spotted with WS-10B and the WS-10B is an improved version of the WS-10. PLAAF will be a lot more cautious when it comes to the single-engined J-10. J-10 from day one flew with AL-31FN. Salut & CAC have good relations. They don’t need to take any risks.
I thought the problems with the WS-10 had been sorted out, isn’t the PLAAF been supplied with WS-10s on their J-10s now?…
J-10/10A do not have WS-10. There is one J-10B prototype (1035) with a WS-10B installed, but all other J-10B seem to have AL-31FN.
Regarding the reliability issues, they did not solve the problems fully. They managed to increase the the reliability. MTBO was increased from a horrible “less than 70” to a max of 500. J-10 is single engined unlike the J-11. So, PLAAF/CAC is going to be a lot more concerned when it comes to reliability.
Because Russia won’t sell just the engines….
eh? Then by extension Russia won’t sell Su-35 either. If Russia does not want PRC to have any access to 117S then the whole sale is a DOA.
Another simulator, but for what fighter? Or perhaps it’s just random layout testing.

Nope~When U check the pic of 2001, you will find out that the color changed again and again!
…
Only difference I see is the whether condition. Amount of sunlight, Haze, Dry/Wet conditions, etc, etc and possibly the camera used along with deliberate photo manipulations.
The 2nd attachment, one with the green(ish) nose seems to be a PSed. I resized the 1st attachment a bit.
PS: I didn’t know prototypes were plug an play  There was a rumor that 2003 is going to get facelift.

What’s a “Soar Dragon” ? UAV ?…
