Could you expand on this? Interested but ignorant! 😮

Very interesting, please elaborate. I don’t think you meant that J-11B got beaten by J10A? Please provide source if possible, Chinese source is fine.

    [RUMOR]

J-11B be had got spanked by the J-10A even while being out numbered and more shockingly J-11B had lost out to the J-11A .

    [/RUMOR]

Officially, J-10A pilots won the “Golden Helmets”.

    Wait!
I’m confused here.. What is this J-16 Flanker Version?
An outright copy of MKK, but 100% domestic build?
    What kind of engines?

So what about the J-15, is it an outright copy of Su-33, but also 100% domestic build?

J-16 is based on the J-11BS (twin seat J-11B). It will carry out the missions currently done by Su-30MKK/MK2 & JH-7/7A. Not sure whether they have the regular WS-10 or the higher thrust variant.

J-15 is the copy of the Su-33

All J-11B, J-15 and their variants are copies of the Su-27/33 design with indigenous components and air-frame tweaks.

Something weird about the way the engines fitted. Almost looks like they are too small to fit properly.

PS: Don’t think there is a tail-hook there –Image. There might be provisions for a tail-hook in the future, but I don’t think this has one.

Exactly! Why does it have to be censorship? It could simply be Semi-Transparent Glass : Image-1, Image-2, Image-3

I remember our old house used to have these grainy-glass windows. Some of them use to get smashed thanks to my cricket ball 😮 and the replacements were the regular transparent-Glass. So you get an odd mixture of Transparent & Semi-Transparent Glass http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af8/My-Military-Photos/Smilies/banghead.gif

Those are aggressor A/C : From Hui Tong

…The latest images (September 2012) indicated a few Su-30MKKs (S/N 20x9x) started to wear a new “tropical” camouflage (pink, yellow and green) similar to Vietnamese Su-30MKV. These are believed to serve as enemy forces/aggressors for dissimilar air combat training.

What good are MIRV’s going to do when India does not have miniaturized n-warheads?

How do you know they don’t have miniaturized warheads?
