I am new to this forum and am taking abreak from Fw190’s.
I am starting a collection of Russian Wild Weasels and am asking if anyone could tell me a full/representative Wild Weasel mission load for a Su-32FN and a Su-30MKI.
I Mig-25 and MiG-31 and Su-24 Wild Weasel aircraft. Can anyone tell me if there are/were other Russian Wild Weasels?

Well according these diagrams the Su-34 can carry up to 6 kh-31 missiles : Link-1, Link-2

There is no massive S-Duct in the ATD-X (see the attachment). Notice the horizontal stabs on the ATD-X are similar to the PAK-FA 🙂
The gross pay of somebody in a position of Wing co. today should be around 75k INR per month including DA ,band pay ,grade pay , transport allowance etc. which comes to around 1700$ pm .That may be quite less compared to international standards [I have no idea about other air forces to be honest] but its quite a lot in Indian terms.Compare this to software engineers who can start anywhere from say 25k – 30 k pm(depends).
Really , 20000 INR is quite a ridiculous amount.

What the heck! 75,000 INR per month is 180,000+ LKR! 😮 Thats a very good salary in this part of the world. Last year I couldn’t get that for the whole year 🙁

[IMG*]http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/7883/j20loadout3.jpg%5B/IMG]I’m actually wondering if a weapons bay configuration like this is possible (like a forward and a rear ventral bay), simply because the J-20 looks a bit longer than the F-22 and PAK FA… but some pics show it roughly the same size as F-22, and others, like what Phaid posted show it a good third longer.
That weapons bay has very poor A-G capacity. It’ll face the same problem the F-22 faced. I hope the actual J-20 weapons bay would be much deeper allowing some decent A-G capability. One big problem with F-22 is the internal A-G capacity. 1000 lbs JDAMs, SDB and thats about it.

For a long time Hui Tong mentioned a Salut 99M variant @ ~140kN would be used if a higher thrust WS-10 was not ready. He removed that once the J-20 flew and changed it to WS-1X.
But once the hi-res images started to flow in, I must say those petals look nothing like the WS-10 petals we’ve seen so far. Lot more like the AL-31 petals.
Even before we got the hi-res shots Maya said its flying with an AL-31 variant.

I honestly don’t see a problem. CAC & Salut worked together before (J-10/AL-31FN). 100+ J-10s are flying. So why not use modified/uprated Salut AL-31F until the WS-15 is ready? WS-15 is said to be progressing smoothly but will be several years until it is ready for production

Do you really deem that cockpit and canopy will be same volum in variant aircraft?
How big will be the PAKFA whose cockpit is enlarged same as F-22?

Small suggestion. Why not use the ejection seat as point of reference. Or Ejection seat + canopy + etc..
Don’t think the seat vary in size too much even if they are different versions. If the seat is the same used on the J-10, then that could be a good point of ref. The incline of the seat can change, but you should be able to compensate for that.
There are several differences between the service version and the initial prototypes, especially the exhaust…..
any idea why the exhaust was changed? :confused:
