Why ?
I was referring to the YF-23 images and not the T-50 images…

Here comes the beast
WOW! Nice!
The whole issue was with Kapedani:
According to that member the YF-23 did not have the same engine face concealment of the YF-22/F-22. But didn’t the YF-23 meet the ATF requirements? Off-course the details are classified but unofficially/indirectly wasn’t the YF-23 overall stealthier than the YF-22?
The X-32 didn’t have natural S-Duct of the X-35 and relied on other means to block the engine face. But didn’t the X-32 meet the RCS requirement for the JSF competition?
An attack by torpedo has not been ruled out, but is unlikely. The cause of the sinking is unconfirmed and anything else is a rumor. The South Korean military has NOT elevated readiness status from the first time the report came in, and has NOT called back soldiers on leave.
If the ship was torpedoed, that would be a HUGE provocation. Even a declaration of war….?
I think Kapedani stated the ‘Serpentine’ intakes of the YF-23 was less extreme compared to the F-22 and does not provide the same level of engine face concealment like the F-22? I assume the same applies to the prototype YF-22. But from what we have heard so far, wasn’t the YF-23 overall stealthier than the YF-22?

Thanx for that dionis. I have been looking for that for long time….
Are you sure that it was hit by a torpedo?

…
A U.S. State Department spokesman said Friday that there was no evidence North Korea was behind the incident.
“Let’s not jump to conclusions here,” said the spokesman, Philip J. Crowley. “I’m not aware of any evidence to that effect, but I think the authoritative source here would be the South Korean government.”Yonhap quoted South Korean naval officials as saying a South Korean vessel later had fired on a ship toward the north.
However, South Korean government officials said it isn’t certain whether North Korea was involved. Yonhap said residents reported hearing gunfire for about 10 minutes.
…
It was at an airshow. Which means several hundred thousand eyeballs also “detected” it.
LOL! Good one…! 😀
At that level even a good old AK-47 will cause damage…
.
b) The USAF had no problem with his comments till AFTER the IAF complained about it. Of course they will release something to keep their new allies happy.
.
When did the IAF officially complained or lodged a protest?
He was not taking info from the USAF pilots, he made a lot of factual errors like the Israeli Radar and Jammer on Mig 21 Bisons etc.
That nothing compared to the Su-30 having “Tumansky Turbojets“…

.
Although I have seen at least one image on the internet that is said to be from the videotape, it shows little detail. My memory is that imagery taken during the flypast showed quite a lot of detail, including the relatively hot engine bays.
Are you referring to this one? – Link
FOD susceptible tumansky turbojet eh? Must be new variant of the Su-30
Is it true that the USAF has actually apologized over this issue?
