How is the Al-14-X performing?
Q3 2008???
Is May 2008 in Q3?
Is this before or after the delivery of the first 747-8?
10 Korean orders firmed!
Korean picked CS300, with the weaker PW1521 engines.
Malmö order!
Another order, after 15 months, brings orderbook to 100:

Malmö Aviation bought 5x CS100 and 5x CS300, both for Bromma. Note that while CS100 should not be a problem, the 1668 m runway of Bromma means that CS300XT (1661 m takeoff run at MTOW, SL and ISA) would suffer MTOW hit in summer.
Aeroflot Superjet!
First Aeroflot Superjet has been delivered, and shall enter into service between Moscow and Petersburg on 16th instant. Aeroflot shall receive 10 frames this year.
What is the interior like?

How many airframes have been delivered as of now (end of May 2011)?
Wing jigs under construction!
SSJ 100-75 is officially on offer, but seems to have no orders. SSJ130 is speculation.
Has there been any mention of 110 seat stretch?
Also, which PurePower model is offered on SSJ-100-130? And how were the model numbers 1500, 1200, 1400 and 1100 assigned?
In Service!
To Sheremetyevo:

What shall be the next Superjet frame due for delivery: Armavia´s second, or Aeroflot´s first?
On its way!
Superjet is alleged to have flown to Novosibirsk on its way to Armenia.
I have problems in understanding how it is practically possible to have accumulated 2,400 hours at age 21…
From 18th birthday, 2400 hours by 21st birthday is 800 hours per year. By end of age 21 means 600 hours per year. Allowed flight hours are something like 900…1000 per year.
Also just looking at those photos of the Mexican birds made me think that for some reason if I could have a large private jet, I think it would be much cooler to have something like a DC-9-10/15/20 type bird as opposed to one of the traditional “biz-jets” like a Gulfstream V or Global Express.
I don’t really know why as in many ways the traditional biz-jets are better, but I suppose I just like the looks of the DC-9.
An obvious advantage is wider, more comfortable cabin. See the Big Bunny DC-9-32.
Given a choice, which would you prefer as you business jet: DC-9-20, DC-9-30, BAC 1-11, Fokker 28, MD-87, Fokker 70, Boeing 717, or ARJ21B?

Some specifics of NCA:

Nice to see some 747-8i customers. Seems like that orange roll out livery was a smart move (There is no tongue in cheek smiley!)
Notably it is the first customer to buy 747-8I first. Both previous 747-8I customers (LH and KE) had bought A380 first. But Air China does want A380, too:
