It’s always the same, when there is any kind of disaster the cameras are there being rammed into the faces of relatives as they find out their loved ones have been killed (I remember especially the photographing of distressed relatives after the Air France crash in 2009). Such “journalism” is disgusting and sick, whoever the story is about.
I have to say I’m not at all surprised, it was inevitable considering that the “rebels” were closing in on what was supposedly his last stronghold. It was always going to end like this, I can’t imagine the “rebels”would have been bothered about seeing him go up before an international court, probably they preferred to dispense their own justice.

I love the tail scheme on the PIA aircraft. Otherwise my favourites are the Air Nostrum (a big fan of their CRJs) and “Spotty Tail” Brussels Airlines.
Another good place at LCY, where I used to stand to take video, is when you walk past the terminal and opposite the runway there are seats and good views of the approaching aircraft. That is the best spot for video because then you can get the aircraft as they approach, touch down and pass along the runway. You get to this bit by turning left as you come out of the terminal building.

A real shock! I used to have a holiday job at a cricket ground and remember seeing Dilley play for Worcestershire in one of our Sunday games against Yorkshire.

I flew on OO-VLE in 2007 LCY-BRU with VLM. It was called “City of Southampton” back then. It is such a shame to see it end like this.
It’s the livery which I noticed most, I’ve not seen that livery before, looks better than their usual one.
I think Finnair had their best livery in the mid 1990s when I flew with them. They were a great airline to fly with in my opinion, but the new livery is vile.
Great pics, love the Jet2!
The problem with the Human Rights Act is that it is currently used purely and simply to allow criminals to escape punishment, and gives them more rights than the law abiding majority of this country seem to have. If there is to be a Human Rights Act it should be rewritten so that it ceases to favour law breakers over their victims.

I would like to see York when the Vikings were there, to see how it was compared to how Jorvik portray it.
Also I would like to go back to prehistoric times to see how dinosaurs and other long-extinct animals really looked and behaved, and to see how different the planet was then.
