That is a big shame. I flew with them several times between London City and Belgium before this CityJet thing came along, and they were excellent.
Very interesting post and nice photos. I will be passing through King’s Cross, albeit briefly, when we go to Heathrow in four weeks. I wish I had more time to explore the area.
Thanks for the replies. Round here, where some of the film was made, it has been a total sell out night after night, so I will have to wait for the DVD to see it. Although I am not a big fan of the TV series the film really caught my imagination with so many familiar places being used as locations.

Thanks again for info, and I love the MiG photos 🙂 We have booked our trip to Krakow and we go in early September so I hope the weather will be good, I really want to see this museum 🙂
Thanks for the replies, I definitely hope to get there as I have only ever seen one MiG aircraft, that was the MiG15 at Hendon (now at Cosford I think). I would love to visit a museum which had a range of Soviet-era aircraft.
What about cutting MP’s expenses and forcing them to live on the bare minimum, after all they aren’t exactly hard working are they? They are the ultimate idle, workshy scroungers.

Battle of Britain. Watched it on DVD a couple of weeks ago – love that film!

Sorry about your lovely cat. I know exactly how you are feeling. I lost my last dog in 2006, he was put to sleep after having a massive fit which left him partly paralysed and his loss was totally unexpected. I know the pain of losing a much loved pet.

There are some so-called “doctors” who are incapable of spelling common medical terms such as diarrhoea. I know that for a fact. Some so-called “doctors” do not even know how to take blood pressure.
However, there are genuinely great ones out there as well.

Beautiful photos from my favourite airport. I used to like the 25L end for making videos. Nice to see that OO-SSC still has Star Alliance colours, I flew in that aircraft last September. Lucky to spot the Rackham Tintin plane 😀
